• Born a ghoul changeling that was swapped for a human child


• Human mother had willingly swapped her child for a changeling to gain the protection of the ghouls


• Raised by a single mother who was emotionally distant and left him alone at the house for long hours every day


• Ended up being watched over by ghouls as he was forced to do chores around the house even after his 'mother' came home


• The ghouls took note of his abuse and, when he started growing into ghoulhood, sent the child he had been swapped for, now mostly a ghoul, to retrieve him


• The ghouls then tore apart and devoured the mother in retaliation after she captured and tortured multiple ghouls to try and get her 'son' back


• Fully transitioned into a ghoul and trained as a warrior alongside the ghoul who was once the human he had been swapped for and took on the name 'Ragraod' as the other took on the name 'Zangut'


• Came to regard Zangut as a brother and close friend


• The two came to serve as bodyguards of Richard Upton Pickman after completing their training and found a family amongst Richard's group of ghouls
