Vulwin was born to [[Group-27977]], and growing up things were fine until he was found to have a series of health concerns in his youth and he ended up needing special care. He was raised as close to guild standard as they could while still keeping him safe and healthy, which ended up being a teacher who specialized in taking care of the sick.

As such Vulwin trained to be a [[Job-3925]] due to his ability to pick up on languages quite quickly. Such translation abilities were in quite high demand, and even if he left the guild there would be plenty of opportunity to put those skills to use to make his living. Though his parents were a constant presence in his life they also understood his decision to stay with the guild when he came of age. The work was steady and they took care of his health concerns, and it was all he'd ever known.

So he formally joined the ranks of the Librarians, staying mostly in the controlled environment of the archives beneath the guild hall. That was where he truly excelled, and it was his work doing that which got him truly noticed by the Guild Master at the time. Vulwin was brought into the Inner Circle, which meant he was also in line to be the next Guild Master if he was still alive when something happened to the current one. It was a great honor that he accepted with as much dignity as he could, but that was where the trouble began. The other members of the circle didn't think he deserved it, and they began to bully him and try to sabotage his work. Vulwin took it as best he could, but finally one day enough was enough and he lashed out at them with a show of physical violence and power none thought him capable of.

This lead to a few questions being raised and the Circle temporarily disbanded, but it was during that time that the Guild Master died. It was completely unexpected, an accident that no one saw coming when his airship crashed while he was on the way to an outlying village to help resolve a problem. The members of the Circle were brought back in and the proper ceremony was held; the Guild Master had named Vulwin his successor, and while there was some protest from the other members of the Circle there was no denying the validity of the will the Guild Master had written while he lived and Vulwin became the new Guild Master.

Rather than exact his revenge upon those who had done so much harm to him, however, he instead forgave them and allowed them to remain as members of his own Circle if they so wished. Most have since passed away, Vulwin being an elf meaning that his lifespan was always to be longer than theirs barring disease or injury.

Despite being the Guild Master he still likes to look at the new texts being brought in and help translate them as he finds them interesting and likes to keep up to date with knew knowledge, mostly for the benefit of the people he is now seen to be in charge of as well as his own gain.
