Slender
Wears a classic white doctor's coat at all times. Glasses are cosmetic and help convince people that he is human.
- Trenchis has pure intentions. He will see his job through until his patients are healthy. Which is why it irritates the hell out of him when they don't follow his orders and stagnate, or even worse, reverse any progress they may have made. Otherwise, he is usually composed even in stressful situations.
- Although is he more than capable of fighting, he believes it is not in his place to interfere in human conflicts. He fears that his strength as a vampire and knowledge as an immortal could tip the scales on one side. His only involvement in wars is as a healer.
- Sometimes, he enjoys acting creepy for the sake of being creepy. As he puts up a human face, he makes pretend that he is a vampire by dropping unsubtle hints, such as a fixation with blood.
- He is detached from the emotions of his patients. His life as both an immortal vampire makes it difficult for him to empathize with other people. He doesn't mind not having friends, but this makes it difficult for people to understand him.
- He often demands patience despite having little patience for people himself.
- Not a personality flaw, but he has no musical talent whatsoever. Possibility a side-effect of vampirism. Yeah, let's blame it on that.
Natural curiosity, and not wanting to forget how to empathize. Practicing medicine and healing the sick keeps him tethered to mortality and the threat of death, which are usually things he doesn't have to worry about.
For whatever reason, Areliene natives are a bit too prideful for their own good.

True Neutral
Immortal, but not invulnerable
September 15, Late 4th Century B.C.M. (Virgo)
Southeastern Zieroph
Several Doctorates from different universities around the world. He will return to school if a) human technology and science advances too far for him to understand on his own, or b) he inhabits a new body and requires another license to practice medicine. Most of the time, it's the latter reason.
Vampires are among the few earthen beasts that remain on Egonia. Their way of survival combined with their ability to blend into human society has allowed them to persist for so long.
Vampires are body snatchers. They drink blood to survive, yes, but only because they need a constant energy supply of lifeforce as undead. Blood can only sustain them for so long before their physical shell starts to wither away. To acquire a new host, vampires perform a magic ritual on an unconscious human sacrifice, and when the ritual is complete, they possess the sacrifice and their old body disappears.
In addition, there are two ways in which humans can be transformed into vampires. The first is for a victim of a vampire feeding to survive its bite, where then the bite marks are referred to as a "vampire's kiss." The other is for a vampire to fail a body possession ritual.
Before he became known as Trenchis, he lived as a simple merchant sailor in the seas southeastern Zieroph. Like most people, he didn't know these things about vampires he almost became the victim of one. The ritual the vampire performed to take control of his body failed when he woke up in the middle of the night, found a pale, old, naked woman hovering over his bed, and kicked her in the face.
The frustrated vampire had to explain what happened and what his transformation entailed. Before he could fully comprehend this new information, she left to find a new host. Although becoming a vampire depressed him initially, knowing he could never feel the sun again, the realization of both his newfound immortality and supernatural powers excited him. He used his lifesavings to study chemical engineering and pharmacology, and made a small fortune selling wonder drugs to the sick.
Molecule Construction magic + Vampiric abilities
Glowing eyes, sometimes
Most magicians with this magic aren't able to make use of its fullest potential because it requires a good understanding of chemical reactions at the most basic level of skill. However, Trenchis has had more than enough time to study and understand how to build complex molecular structures, and then replicate them using his magic. He has also learned how to create many substances that modern day material engineers have yet to discover.
In addition, his vampiric abilities give him increased speed and strength, heightened senses, and night vision. He can determine blood type by its taste. If there are no barriers between him and a target's eyes, he can induce hypnosis (his glasses prevent him from using this ability unconsciously)
Once he creates a substance and relinquishes control over it, his mana cannot manipulate it again. The next substance must be created from scratch. He can also only manipulate one substance at a time.
He is susceptible to silver, fire, and garlic (when consumed). Sunlight is fatal unless he is wearing heavy protective clothing and high SPF sunscreen.
Would definitely hate Twilight

Mira gave him an offer he couldn't refuse: an underground home and workplace in exchange for his services as a doctor. He inherently likes her because of that.
William Glacialis suspects he is a true vampire. Unfortunately for him, he is right.
He describes himself as a freelance doctor. In reality, he is a wandering scholar specializing in medicine, pharmacology, and chemistry. Also dabbles in materials engineering.
