So in Overview I said Ashvin's croc head is my tribute to Egyptian mythology.
Here's why.
So ancient egyptians also believed in an underworld. They had a goddess called Ammut who had the hindquarters of a hippo, the frontquarters - is that a word? - of a lion and the head of a croc.
I don't exactly remember the specifics but she would judge the damned and eat them.
with the croc head, if that weren't already obvious.
