She's fulfilled her personal goals. For now, she wants to watch her son grow.

Is pretty rude and crass with everyone except her son and maybe his friends.
Age has not been kind to her.

She regularly goes to the knight academy to train the new recruits. She's terrifying.
She likes to cook and bake in her down time. She's good at it, but when she gets experimental, the kitchen becomes a war zone.

A stern and tough woman, Aurelia is known in her home town for her abrasive yet kind nature. She'll insult you and help you in the same minute without hesitation. She primarily shows all her kindness to her son, always trying her best to not show him her more irritated attitude. (This is futile.)
Luckily, her son is still a kind and respectable young man who always considers the needs of others before his own. Aurelia loves her son dearly, but also worries about him while he is out on his adventures.
She frequently writes letters for him.

She holds no proficiency in magic. In her youth, it was notable that she had little ability to wield it.

Her role was primarily a joke since it would be a running gag that everyone would think that Knight's mother is dead since he talks about her so much.
And then he receives like five letters from his mom and everyone goes :0
She later gains a far more prominent role in the narrative after reconsidering her role.
