To be accepted by his family; to come out to them.
He wishes he could see his family more than he currently does, but they're homophobic and he's scared of how they'd react. It really eats him up.

Feeling obligated to do things
Erik is a very cool and aloof kind of person; he acts indifferent about matters and rarely seems affected by things, which is true in some respects--he's not easily rattled and doesn't give a damn about anyone (or what they say) outside his inner circle but he's just very internal and not one to dwell on feelings. He doesn't make efforts to socialize with people he 's not interested in and doesn't care about getting along (often by avoiding or acting coolly). He's the type of person who lives in the moment and sort of just flows with things. He's very caring towards the people he loves/values and is actually pretty familial and brotherly towards younger acquaintances, being a middle child of 6 siblings (as shown he readily treats the younger sister of his boyfriend as if she were family). He's generally quiet but can chat away with the right people. Not being a feelings person, he doesn't open up much and he's not the best at sympathy but he's good with giving suggestions and a listening ear.
Jun -- his boyfriend.
He has several siblings he doesn't get to see anymore since he seldom visits his family. The reason for this is because his mother is homophobic.
- The cigarettes he smokes are Marble Menthol 100s.
- He used to videogames with his siblings all the time but doesn't do it much anymore.
- He tends to ruin things when he's stressed (like pulling at a loose button, crumpling a tissue in his hands, nothing violent)
- He is fairly good at baking.
