21
114 lbs
5'2
Raven black
Long hair, wavy. Always styled somehow in a half up half down look.
N/A
Arctic blue, having been described as the color of ice before.
Half-Elf
Fair, with some extremely light freckles on her cheeks.
Mesomorph, with a slightly athletic build. She keeps active, and doesn't sit still much anyways.
It's less of a mark, and more of a feature. She has slightly pointed ears, not enough to fully look like an elf while looking at her, but enough to tell she's not quite fully human either.
As well, she's got a nice scar from an old stab wound on her stomach.
Evelyn was always taught to be proper. She was raised among some of the higher borns, but never a noble, her father was part of the upper merchant class. She was expected to be a "nice young lady". Eve didn't like that too much. She always adventured, always blew off what she considered to be wasted studying time for going out and exploring. She always looked at the world as an uncharted map.
Having felt pressured to do so well before, Eve now is extremely motivated to prove herself to the world that watches her. She wants to be the best she can be, and help other embrace their own strengths as well.
Eve gets emotionally attached to things easily. She is extremely feelings driven, and sometimes that's to her downfall. She gets a little distracted by her emotions sometimes.
Evelyn is one of the youngest royal mages to have ever graced the courts. She is extremely skilled in magic, specifically incantations and spells.
Eve has taken up animal handling in her free time, especially with her trusty owl cat, which she takes everywhere with her.

The highest level a magic user in Soth can achieve, thanks to the royal family.
Evelyn was born to a merchant family, the Bastirre line. They were a pretty well off family, though they weren't considered to be in the noble families.
Eve was born in a town in more of the Northern section of Soth, in the Ickest Forest. She has a couple of younger brothers, but she is the oldest out of the group. From a young age, her family learned that she had a very chaotic streak. And fortunately for them, that chaos was filled with magic. At the ripe age of six, she almost burnt her house down to the ground from a temper tantrum.
Her father immediately made use of his oldest daughters gift, and he spent most of their money on her education. It paid off to say the least.
Many years later, and she was finally entering her last school at the age of 18. While the heir to the throne was visiting her academy with his family to scout for upcoming talent, the academy immediately pointed her their way. She performed her magic, and was immediately taken to the palace for further training.
After 2 years of training from the rest of the current royal mages, they had finally determined that she was to become a royal mage. The youngest royal mage to have ever made it in with the high ups. She was finally assigned the biggest job of her life, protection over the heir. She was absolutely thrilled with her progress, but was also terrified that she had to be extremely proper- she wasn't sure if she could do it. From day one, he could sense her nerves. He teased her about it. The first time she rolled her eyes, she immediately started to apologize quickly...and he laughed at her, telling her it was alright.
Over the first year of her newest job, she became close with the heir, Etienne. He would specifically schedule time in his day to practice magic with Eve, and on his free time, he would request that she join him for meal times. It was all just a friendly relationship to Eve...until he decided to confess his feelings towards her. She was stunned to be honest, completely oblivious to his feelings. She distanced herself from him for a bit...not sure how to react. After a week, she finally brought herself back to him. She told him she'd be willing to try, as long as there would be a chance for them in the future.
He promised her he would try his hardest.
Fast forwards a couple of months, when Etienne was sent out on a mission to go reach his people in the upper north district. He brought Eve with him as "protection". Well... protect him she did. A group of a small guild of thieves and criminals attempted to kidnap the prince, and she successfully warded them off- unfortunately almost loosing her life in the process due to a sword deciding to enter her gut while saving the prince. She was able to heal herself somewhat with the energy she had, saving herself from deaths door. Etienne rushed her back to his winter palace, where he was staying, and laid her in his chambers while he grabbed the supplies he could.
As she laid in his bed with him wrapping her wounds, she passed out from exhaustion.
The next morning, she woke up with his arms around her in his bed. She didn't mind honestly- until the royal advisor they were sent with busted into his room for an urgent meeting.
Let's just leave it at...the royal family wasn't happy with this development.
Once the two arrived back, they were both verbally scolded. One more than the other. Of course, Etienne- without his knowledge, was to be engaged to a high up noble girl, and if that family heard about "Evelyn's move" on Etienne...it was all over for them both. To prevent that, the royal family made a decision. At first, it was going to be banishment from the kingdom, but Etienne argued for her to only be banished from her job. He succeeded, with the preface that Evelyn agreed to never step foot in the castle again, and lost her mage status.
Evelyn, though she hated the deal...accepted it.
As a final goodbye, Etienne stopped her as she was leaving the palace with her things. He embraced her for the last time, and handed her a pendant. Not just any pendant, but a magical one. When he tapped it, its light shined softly.
She's worn it ever since.
It's been a month now, and she's remained on the outskirts of the kingdom. She's gotten some work, but right now she just continues to travel to attempt to find a stable job.
She has the one at the moment, an owl cat she's named Tyer.
Evelyn doesn't practice much religion. What she does practice however, is she occasionally will pray to the Goddess of Magic in her land, Aressa.
She agrees with some of Soth's laws. She doesn't agree that magic should be contained amongst it's people...but she does agree that sometimes it needs to have more of a handle on it than some other countries give their citizens.
She is currently a wandering mage, looking for work. She was a mage to the royal family in Soth...but that didn't work out.
Her favorite color is an extremely light blue, like her eyes.
Her favorite possession is her staff, given to her by her grandfather. It helps her contain her wild magical qualities, and focus them. Though it helps, it's mostly up to her.

Her favorite animal happens to be the species of the pet that follows her everywhere, an owl cat.
