Jesse’s brother Simon bakes as a hobby and coping mechanism. Jesse is Simon’s only taste tester. Jesse is a very honest person. If they don’t like something, they’ll voice their opinion, but the same goes for positive things. If they think the cake that Simon made tastes bad, they sat something, and also what specifically about it is shitty. Simon calls it ‘constructive criticism,’ Jesse calls it ‘being a bitch’.
