“Stole them from some guy when I was in town months ago. I changed them a little so they track the user back to mine,” I held another up “took a while.” I shrugged “thought they could be useful”

Luke grinned widely. "You're a tinkerer, like me! I knew there was a reason we got along."

“There’s a bunch of stuff in that box in the corner you can look through,” I pointed to the one in the back, “It’s either stuff I’m working on, stuff I’ve completed or junk.” I went back to unpacking.

Luke finished sweeping and went over to have a look. "Wow….is that an alternator? Oh, this is clever…" He rummaged around, carefully picking up each item and admiring it. "Man, some of this stuff could be pretty valuable. You've got a good eye."

I shrugged “It’s nothing really.”

He just smiled at you and neatly put everything back away. "Anything else need done to clean this place up?"

“Nope, I think that’s it,” I looked around, it actually looked clean. “Thanks for the help Luke.”

"No problem."
(Planning ahead a little bit, do you think maybe Maddie should get caught, while Luke's out scouting? At least temporarily, maybe she gets rescued/escapes before anything bad happens?)

“I’m just gonna go check the back rooms.” I walked past Luke and into the back of the caves.

You saw a little bit more dust and dirt, but less than the main room. Some bat bones lay scattered on the floor, no doubt Crash's work. But it was dry and empty.
You heard Luke talking to Nathan, then he called back to you. "I'm gonna head out, then. I'll be back tonight. Stay safe."

“You too.” I called. I checked out some of the bedrooms but there was nothing there. The bedrooms were a lot further away then I remembered. I stopped, but I heard nothing but silence.

The air was very still and heavy, and light didn't quite reach this far. It gave you a slight feeling of unease.

I looked around feeling very queasy all of a sudden, “Who’s there?” I called out
