He knocked on the door. "Nat? I need some clothes. Er, not for me, but for Atlas. The girl we found today?" He said, hoping she would open the door. He glanced at Atlas, wondering what she thought of the place.

The door slid open with a hiss and revealed the red haired woman, who leaned against the doorway. “Who,” Nat asked flatly, before finally seeing Atlas half hidden behind Adrian. She shrunk back from her gaze. “Oh.”

Turning around, she walked into the room, opening a door. “In there. Pick out whatever you want, sweetheart. Might be a little big though.” she said, sitting on a nearby chair.

Glancing back at Adrian, she crept into the room, slowly walking into the closet. She was quickly overcome with how many clothes there were.

Adrian waited in the doorway, quiet. He watched Atlas for a moment, then looked away. He wondered what clothes she would choose, although it really didn't matter either way. So long as she wasn't wearing that armor anymore.

Atlas immediately went to the long sleeves, grabbing a gray crew neck with a word in bold on it she couldn’t read. Opening the dresser pushed to the far wall, she opened each of them, eyes widening slightly as she came across lacy underwear. Picking out a pair of shorts that looked like they would fit her.

Closing the door, Atlas changed quickly before walking out, fuzzy socks covering her feet and armor folded in her arms. Nat nodded approvingly, muttering something about her favorite pair of socks that Atlas couldn’t understand.

Adrian smiled, and gave her a thumbs up. "Good job." He said from the doorway, where he had remained the entire time. He had raised his eyebrows slightly at the lacy underwear, but hadn't said a thing. It didn't really matter to him what she wore.
(By the way, what does the shirt say?)

(omg i’m sorry but she didn’t pick out the lacy underwear, she just looked at them and and put them back)

(the shirts basically one of those college ones, so this one says ‘Harvard’)

@ElderGod-Icefire

(i know, he wasn't raising his eyebrows at picking them out, just the fact they existed XD sorry I must have jumbled my sentences a bit)

(Oh alright, cool)

(oh alright lmao)

Atlas repeated the thumbs up, hoping it meant well. She had no idea what the mannerisms were on Earth, so hopefully she didn’t say anything derogatory. Bounding over to Adrian, she pulled on his arm, signaling that they should probably go.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Adrian chuckled softly. "Come on." He said, and started walking back to Tony. He would have to ask where Atlas would be staying, so that he could show her to a room. And hopefully then find some easier way to communicate with her than rough sign language.

(yay!! how’d you like it?)

Atlas followed Adrian, lagging a bit behind after admiring a picture of Tony, and who she supposed was his wife and daughter. A sudden wave of sadness washed over her as she thought about her family. Where were they? Did she even have a family? She stopped, lost in thought.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(it was pretty good! The fucking MIDSCENE tho! Aahhhhh!!)

Adrian kept walking, then realized Atlas was no longer with him. He stopped, and turned back around, and saw her looking at a picture of Tony, Pepper, and Morgan. He walked over to her, and touched her shoulder gently. "Atlas?" He asked. He wanted to ask if she was okay, but he wasn't sure how to.

(i know, it killed me!!)

Atlas blinked, coming out of her thoughts at the sound of his voice. She smiled at him, an obviously fake one, and gave him two thumbs up. She didn’t want to lie, but how was she going to explain that she hadn’t a clue who she was?

@ElderGod-Icefire

(and now Sony and Marvel have split and asdfgh I can't deal with this)

Adrian sighed softly. "Okay. Come on." He gestured, and started walking. He was headed back to the room where Tony and FRIDAY were, fixing the translator. He hoped it would be done soon, as he really wanted to be able to actually communicate with Atlas, rather than vague hand gestures.
