Atra flinched instictively when she heard the object thrown against the wall, the shattering of it. That reminded her, she'd love to throw a Dalek against the wall someday… if she could get away with it, that is. It would be sooo satisfying except she'd then get "executed," as the Daleks like to call it.
Lynx let out a wordless shout, unaware that Atra was still outside his door. "Stupid fucking-!" he broke off.
Atra slowly opened the door, slightly concerned. "A-are you okay?" she asked, genuinely wanting to know the answer, and she wasn't expecting an answer, though she thought Lynx would probably say something along the lines of "Fine, I'm fine," while definitely lying.
He jumped. "Yeah, I'm fine." he said in a surly, grumpy tone. He plopped down on his bed again, rubbing his face with his hands.
"A-alright then, I'll be going now…" Atra returned, unsure of what to do. Why did humans have to be so- so complicated?
He nodded. "Alright." He said with a soft sigh, raking a hand through his hair.
She quietly exited, but lingered outside the room for a moment. She felt this strange attachment to him, of all possible beings, it had to be a human! She shook her head once and sighed, and turned to go somewhere else.
Lynx swore under his breath. This is stupid. This is so fucking fucked up. I don't want to go to a planet and be the only one of my kind there.
