Peyton on instinct fired the taser at him. She squealed, "Sorry!"
Peyton on instinct fired the taser at him. She squealed, "Sorry!"
(How would Bunny come in?)
(I have another character I made whom I haven't used yet. Maybe they're together for now and come in contact with the main group soon?)
(Sure! How will we start with them?)
Peyton's aim had been dead on, and Pollux was hit. It didn't do much harm. He simply lost control of his muscles for a few moments and thus fell to the ground, but he was alright. Slightly angry, but alright. As soon as he was in control again, he sat up and sighed in annoyance.
(Idk, maybe they're wherever the main group is heading next?)
Peyton ran over to Pollux, "I am so so sorry! It was instinct and I really didn't mean to. The whole gun thing scared me!"
"I know, I know. I'm fine." Pollux waved his hand. "You've got good aim, though. I'll give you that much credit. But that thing sure won't kill zombies as easily as a lethal weapon."
"I know," Peyton sighed looking at her taser, "But it's the only thing I can find. It's sad really."
(I can't actually find that character's template, little help?)
Pollux mostly ignored what Peyton said and looked into her eyes. "I do know you, don't I? From university? You were in my class, also on the med track?"
(I can't actually find that character's template, little help?)
(My character? She's waaaaaay back. I'll find it and paste it here.)
"Yeah," Peyton studied him, "Pollux? That's your name right?"
Name: Cordelia Mason
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dirty blonde hair, dark green eyes, light skin with a few freckles, 5'3
Personality: Quiet and shy, hard to talk to sometimes, caring, skittish
Occupation before the Plague: High school
Family: Leo, brother (but this might change, since his RPer hasn't been active)
Weapon(s): Not preferred, but she literally carries around kitchen knives because that's what she could find
"Yeah," Peyton studied him, "Pollux? That's your name right?"
"It is. So you are Peyton. I guess we look a little different all roughed up. I'm glad to have found someone I know." Pollux slowly got to his feet.
Peyton smiled, "It really is great. I was worried everyone I knew was either dead, gone, or infected. Well, that's partially true."
"Your family?" Pollux asked solemnly, feeling immensely sorry for his classmate. "I'm not even sure what happened to mine. They live two-hundred miles away from college, and I've lost contact."
Peyton nodded small tears forming in her eyes, "Yeah. I found out after the Plague hit. My mom and dad got infected and my younger sister is missing."
"I'm sorry. I hope we can at least find your sister," Pollux said, trying to be reassuring. He wasn't so certain that he was succeeding.
Peyton wiped the tears from her eyes, "That's what I've been doing. Scouring the country for any signs of her. If she's dead, I think I'll be okay with that. So you found a group to stay with?"
"I'm not sure if you heard what happened, but half of our group or so got wiped out by a rogue survivor. I'm still with some of the first few that I met, but it was too close of a call. I nearly died, too." Pollux explained, "I'm not sure where we're going next. Honestly, finding more survivors would be ideal. We have to band together."
Peyton looked at him, "Why in the world would someone try and kill other survivors? Never mind, consider me a part of your band. I need some friends."
"I've been asking the same thing. He was a complete lunatic, that man. I still can't believe it." Pollux's voice weakened. "I… can't believe what he did to some of the people we were with. I didn't see it, but I heard it was brutal."
"I wish I came sooner," Peyton sighed, "Maybe I could have saved some people. Or, or help others escape. I… Don't know."
"Or you could've died," Pollux sighed, "I'm not sure what happened. People started leaving the warehouse to explore, I think. That was a mistake. I wish I could've stopped them."
"Yeah. If you have a safe place don't leave it. Unless your running dangerous low on supplies, then it should be okay," Peyton said, "That's just apocalypse survival 101."
"You see, that's why we're leaving now. there's no supplies to spare, and we're out in the middle of nowhere. God… and after he killed those outside, he followed the ones who escaped and came into the warehouse, shot me, and then Zoe and Cash took him down. It was a grand disaster to say the least," Pollux admitted.
Peyton shook her head, "That does sound like a disaster. Do you have any mode of transportation? Or are we walking?"
