Cash nods because he doesn't know what else to do. He stands, his ever present bat still with him. Trying to shift the topic, he says, "Does anyone have any ideas as to what we should do? I mean, should we hole up, or try and see what it is that's out there?" For the thousandth time in his life, Cash wishes someone else was there to tell him exactly what to do.
(Thank you so much! That helps a lot. I thought he was kind of alone in the warehouse still… Let's just insert him into this situation and hope for the best)
Pollux stumbled through the warehouse and came upon Cash and Zoe. "What's happened? I heard screaming. Where is everyone?" He was becoming a little frantic. He had thought they were safe.
Zoe had said nothing as she was still trying to comprehend what had just happened. ( Creativity block.)
Pollux drew out his gun, ready to fight. Something had happened. He had a feeling people had been killed. "Zoe, are there zombies?"
(I'm glad it helped. :) )
Cash shakes his head. answering Pollux's question for Zoe. "I don't think so. Zoe, Aberdeen and I went out to find Karamate and Aname, but…." He shakes his head. "We were too late. And unless the Infected have learned to use complex weapons, they were killed by un-Infected."
He rushes through, for some unknown reason feeling as if their time is short. "We met a UNIT scientist from Britain, Zoe was kidnapped by who knows who. We found Zoe in an old house about 5 miles away and got her back with now trouble; it's almost as if whoever it was who kidnapped her was gone, but as we headed back we knew we were being followed. On the way back to the warehouse we somehow lost the scientist, and just as we got back something, or someone, grabbed Aberdeen." He swallows. "And then Nico ran out…….they're both gone."
He puts a hand on Zoe's shoulder in comfort, and points his bat to the warehouse door. To Pollux and the others he says, "Whoever it is out there, they're un-Infected, and they know exactly what they're doing."
"Why would someone uninfected try to kill other uninfected people? It's against the laws of nature. We should be trying to survive in packs and trying to find all survivors so that maybe we can rebuild civilization, not killing others to further the apocalypse," Pollux said, clenching his fist, "Is it… Is it possible that whoever this was saw where we went and could follow us?"
Zoe immediately looked up when he said this. " Ummm guys, do you think they're trying to get in right now?" She said nervously
"I'm sure of it." Cash answers Pollux, shaking his head. "They must be crazy though." In reply to Zoe's question, Cash stiffens and looks to the door. "Yeah. Yeah, they are." He looks Zoe in the eyes. "How many doors does this place have? Windows?"
" No windows……………………. one door, oh fuck." She said as she started moving furniture towards the door.
Pollux dragged Zoe back. "No. Find something to hide behind. One exit means one entry too, and we have the upper hand then."
" Yeah, but that also means we are trapped in here." She added.
"I know. But if we don't use that to our advantage, whoever this is will just come in and kill us, no questions asked."
Pollux loaded his gun and crouched behind a wooden crate.
She sighed as she followed the suit and hide under the table with her guns ready and cocked.

(You never know who's reading these RP's; younger kids use this website too.)
Cash readies himself, gripping the handle of his bat painfully. Suddenly, the noise at the door stops. He takes in a quick breath of surprise. "Where did you go?" He whispers almost silently, growing afraid.
Cowboy grins as he slinks along the side of the warehouse. Places like this hardly ever have just one door. His grin widens when he sees the back door. A few small crates are stacked against it, and the door itself is terribly rusted, but he should be able to get in in a cinch. The door protests slightly when he pulls it open, but no sound from within tells him anyone heard. He steps in, silently closes the door behind him, and makes his way through the warehouse, looking for souls to be released from this life.
Zoe heard a slight creak from the back. Alarms went off in her head. "He's here!" She whispered so soft that only Cash had heard it. She quietly positioned herself so she could shot anyone to entered the doorway.
Chills go up Cash's spine when Zoe's words finally register. He, they, she, whoever, is inside the building. He brandishes his bat and faces the large doorway of the hallway, making sure to keep behind a crate.
Pollux was suddenly shaking. He hid behind a crate, holding his gun in his hand, but he was unsteady and scared.
Cash sees Pollux's fear, obvious even though he can't see his eyes. It's the same fear that is that ever present ache in his bones, any moment could be his last. For a moment he hears his Dad's voice, clear from an old, dusty, wonderful memory. 'It's okay to be scared, Cash.' Sure, the whole situation had been about not wanting to shut the lights off for the night when he was 10, but it fits. 'But you can be brave even when you're scared. There's always room to be brave, even when there's fear." He had not totally understood his Dad's words then, but he does now. He grips his bat, grits his teeth, and waits for whatever comes down the hall.
Pollux leaned to the side of the crate, aiming his gun down the hall. As soon as he saw the cowboy, he panicked and opened fire. He was shaking too badly to shoot straight and he missed, instead alerting the man to his position. Pollux heard another gunshot, this one from the cowboy. He ducked back behind the crate, but when he brought his hand over his arm, he realized he was bleeding and had not escaped the shot. He did his best not to cry out in fear.
(Medic! We need a medic over here!! :P)
Bullets whiz past Cash's ears. For a moment he thinks he's dreaming. Then he thinks he's dead. What was he thinking? He should've looked for a gun as soon as he was on his own, as soon as the plague started. 'I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die.' It's his only clear thought. 'I'm gonna die.'
(When your medic is the one who gets hit)
Pollux was able to find where Cash was and he slid his gun across the floor to the other guy, knowing that he'd be better off shooting than Pollux was.
