Travis took a look around at the bare roof, deciding it was at least a good place to stop for a moment. "Sure, why not. Hey, you okay? That thing really had it in for you, huh?" He offered her his hand, which was streaked with grime from the fight. "I'm Travis, by the way."

Once she had somewhat caught her breath, she moved to really try and look at Travis, absorb as much as she could, she squinted slightly before he offered her his hand, she unsquinted her eyes. She winced from her injured arm, she clued smell the grime streak on his hands.
"Ah, maybe we don't have to do a handshake just yet. I would rather not get my wound infected handsome~. Hope yiu understand.' She didn't take hid hand.
"I'm Tapioca. I was given the Nickname Tap if you want to use it. Or don't. It's up to you.'
She had a bag slung at her shoulder as she stared at him.

Cass shrugs "Fia and I are going to our place. You're more than welcome to come with us if youd like. Its pretty safe to" he says kindly
"wait I thought they were already coming? Are they-" Ophelia looks up to the girls "are you guys not coming over?" she asks in an almost disappointed voice.

“Oh, no it’s okay, we’re coming,” Lyn said, a twinge of nervousness in her voice. For a moment she thought Ophelia would cry. “Don’t worry.”
“Yeah, we’ll come with you,” Sef said. “I just suggested it in case you needed to get anything else from around here.”

Evan let gus handle Jessie, seeing as how he was a lot bigger then Evan. He was probably stronger too, he helped Jez to get seated and then moved to sit down a little bit away from Jez. Once gus came over he sat up straight.
"Is there anything I can do to help? Perhaps I could offer information on how he got hurt?'
He just wanted to do something for the group. He felt bad just sitting around.

Jasper had shifted her focus, she was now focused on Jez and his wellbeing and trying not panic when it seemed he collapsed onto the ground. The panic was evident on her face,
"Jez- Wait please- I'm sorry. I'm so sorry about what happened before alright? Just- don't leave okay?"
She didn't want to talk to loud, but she also wasn't exactly quiet. She didn't know what to do so she didn't touch him, but she really wanted to help.
Evan noticed how distressed she was and looked at her, "hey…it's Jasper right? I heard Jez say your name earlier, I'm sure he's going to be okay but he needs lots of rest. He also probably would want you not to panic so much, I can tell he cares about you. Just take a deep breathe alright?'
Evan offered her a kind smile.
Jasper didn't trust Evan, but the way he helped Jez, and how he didn't seem like he harmed Jez she just nodded softly. Taking in some deep breaths.

Gus was grateful when Evan offered to help, and when he started trying to calm Jasper down. "If you could give me more details, that would be a real help," he confirmed, busy trying to figure out why Jez was bleeding from the mouth. "He was just gonna go out scavenging a while, but he was gone fer hours. Do you know how he got hurt like this?"

"Tap, huh? Well, I'm real glad I met you out here." Travis let his hand drop and raised an eyebrow. "That screamer really wanted a bite outta you, didn't it? You should be more careful. Are you traveling alone, or what?"

"It's nice to see another human." She nodded to him. She moved to look at her arm, it was still leaking blood unfortunately. She was slowly feeling the light headedness seep into her.
"Yeah I am traveling alone. I have been for a while.'

Ophelia smiles softly, "oh okay. you scared me for a second" she says with a little laugh "oh we can have a sleepover! I've only had those with my mom" she says bluntly.
Cass clears his throat, cringing on the inside. The twinging feeling in his chest lingering like his wife's scent on his bedsheets even days after she passed.

(i want Jesse to find Elodie here but i dont want to write it without Hufflepuff so im gonna wait a bit till they come back :)

"Looks like that's really working out for ya," Travis remarked sarcastically. "Well, why don't we team up for a while? I don't plan to stick around in this town very long, but it would be nice to have some help hunting for useful gear. Besides, I dunno about you, but I was getting a little lonely on the road by myself."

"Hm, I don't see any issue with teaming up. I would definitely welcome the company as I have been alone for a good while. " She moves to look in her bag for first aid.
"I didn't plan staying here long either, just checking for Supplies and then leaving. I didn't expect to get caught up with screamers."

"You always gotta be prepared for screamers," Travis said matter-of-factly. "They're what caused this whole mess after all." Seeing that Tap was trying to deal with her injury, he produced a bottle of water and offered it to her. "Here, this'll wash off that nasty burning stuff that's in their blood. Wouldn't wanna get an infection from one of those things, that's for sure."
