Cal made quick work of it, making sure to be as gentle as he could. He then gave Weaver a wad of bandages. "Use these to apply pressure there, it should stop bleeding soon." Cal glanced at Weaver's foot for a split second, but said nothing; if they removed the boot to check his injury, his webbed feet would be revealed. "You next," he said, turning to face Breaker. "Were you hurt at all?"
"Nothing serious. I got whacked pretty hard in the shoulder, but I don't think anything's broken. It'll probably bruise, that's all," Breaker replied, rolling his shoulder a bit to see how much he could move it. He winced a little. But really, there wasn't much of anything they could do about it besides be careful. "I'll be fine. What about you?"
"I was using my bow, none of them got close enough to land a hit." Cal turned to their host, who wore a curious expression. The hero extended his hand. "Apologies, ma'am, we never asked for your name. I'm–"
"Let me guess, Link?"
Breaker stiffened. Is she the reason we're…? He looked over at Cal, who had gone rigid with his hand still out for the woman to shake. His stoic expression had cracked a little, shock showing through. "Well? Am I right or am I right?" the woman asked, grinning a little.
Cal blinked and schooled his expression back to serious, letting his hand drop to his side. "…Yes. How did you know?"
The woman laughed. "I've said it before, and I'll say it again–you know one Link, you know 'em all. Plus, I've seen that device on your hip before."
"…Pardon?"
She extended her hand for Cal to shake. "My name's Malon, and my husband's name is Link. Though recently he's been going by his title, the Hero of Time. Maybe you've met him? He'd be traveling with a group of eight others, Heroes like y'all are."
Both heroes visibly relaxed upon hearing that, though Breaker was confused. Nine other heroes that they hadn't met yet? Cal shook Malon's hand. "It's an honor to meet you, though I'm afraid we haven't crossed paths with your husband or his party."
