(ploink yourself I don’t know how to respond)

Tseth tilts his head and watches Salmook leave. What is comper-fishing? He didn’t have much of a clue. But that’s not important. “Good luck with that, kid.” Someone’s probably just going to force him out of bed if he really does try that.
He moves back over to Daphne and sits down on the floor next to her, but he gives her some space.
(I'm genuinely not sure what to do with Blaze at this point-)
(wel we do need to figure out a way for them to attempt escape)
(Hmmm. . . I can do that, certainly. Give me a minute to help Blaze lay out her plan and then the party can get started.)
Blaze sighs.
"Salmook. Wait. I have a way to keep us all alive, and get us out alive. But. . . I can't say it won't hurt," she states, staring at everyone.
"It will require making use of quite a few abilities from each of you. As a matter of fact, the one the plan relies most heavily on. . ." she says, closing her eyes. She raises a casual hand and points at Tseth.
". . . is you."
(a shit just remembered Ame can’t respond for a bit)
(e h h h)
Tseth looks over at Blaze. He’d been wondering when she’d enact her plan. The one that she had barely told anyone about.
He stands up and looks at her. “What do I need to do, Captain?” A sudden change in demeanor. Perhaps he was motivated by the thought of leaving the facility. Or he was slipping into the mindset of a soldier, ready to follow orders. Either way, it had snapped him out of something that had been bothering him.
(Ah. Good to know now rather than later, at least.)
(salmooks abilities literally just being talking to animals and rabies- i appreciate the faith you had in him, blaze-)
Salmook stares back at the potentially-psychotic-danger-lady from the edge of the hallway. What does she want now? His fyuwa-billa-tees? Does he even have any of those? He doesn't think so.
Tseth-friend definitely does, though. Salmook tilts his head as Tseth-friend stands, and he shudders, noting Tseth-friend's personality shift. That's the scary part of Tseth-friend that Salmook doesn't like much.
(She knows. She's counting on his rabid nature and unpredictability. She's smart. She knows that asking Sal to do something he doesn't like will be a perfect way to rile him up to the point where he won't care about a stupid concept like safety :)
Daphne looks around a bit, then looks at Blaze. She stands up, still staying in the corner. She stays silent for a while, then speaks up, although still pretty quietly. “Uh… just so you know, I’m probably not gonna be much help…” She looks around again, then looks down and fidgets awkwardly.
Blaze looks pleased at Tseth's response, shrugs at Salmook's silence, and turns to "look" at Daphne as she speaks.
"You'll be more useful than you think," she replies. "Though, I'd like you both to confirm."
She indicates Tseth and Daphne.
"You both have physical abilities that outmatch a human's, correct? As well as a healing factor," she asks, glancing at Tseth. She remembers how he'd lunged at her the first time they'd met and she was going on a rampage, even having seen how dangerous she was. Nobody sane would do that unless they had confidence in their healing factor, she didn't think. She also gives Daphne a look, since she'd recovered relatively quickly from the blow Blaze had used to knock her unconscious.
(He’s not sane, Blaze)
Tseth tilts his head as he processes Blaze’s words. ”Human” wasn’t a familiar term, but he got the general idea of what she was saying. “Our species have more enhanced abilities than some others, if that’s what you mean. But I’m going to say it now, I don’t want Daphne involved in anything dangerous.” He wouldn’t let her get hurt any more than she already has. And with Blaze specifically mentioning healing abilities, he’d rather anything involving that be done by himself.
Daphne looks incredibly nervous at Blaze’s reply. She didn’t know what to think of it. She edges a little closer to Tseth, and she’s seems very focused on the floor at the moment.
Blaze sighs.
"I doubt Daphne's a very capable fighter anyways. No, she has a different role in all of this. She can guide me to the place I need to get to. Backstage, as it were. I'm certain she's skilled at running, so it shouldn't be an issue. Plus, I need a pair of eyes that can see. Hers work better than mine. My plans for you, Tseth. . ." she shakes her head.
"You have it a little harder. Your job is to hold off the staff while me and Daphne go and find the bastards who brought us here," she states.
(Blaze she can barely even walk properly good luck,)
(She doesn't need to walk, she just needs to have working eyes- Blaze will carry her if she has to.)
(gestures vaguely I was talking about the “skilled at running” part but ok)
(Am I just illiterate)
(Oh, I meant good at getting out of conflict. Not necessarily fighting. Blaze actually has zero intentions of letting anyone get hurt.)
Tseth looks at Daphne for a moment before returning his attention to Blaze. “I’ll do my best, then.” It shouldn’t be too hard. I’ll need to dodge their tranquilizers though, which may be a problem.
(salmook just breathing in the corner like-)
Salmook shudders. He doesn't like how easily the danger-lady is winning Tseth-friend over with her big words. Salmook's missing out on about half of the conversation, and he knows it.
Does he have another mushroom to throw at her? At this point, probably not. Salmook digs around in his cloak's pockets. There's a very-much rotten berry, a twigknot, and his toy. But he can't throw any of those! They're his forest treasures.
He sighs and hides behind the corner of the hallway.
(Me remembering that the friends need to get re-snatched at some point anyway for the sake of plot:)
(oohhh why can't the scrimbles just scrimble-)
