Ben slowly crept into the gym. He was later than the hare during a race. He hoped that no one would point out his tardiness to the teacher.

"Girls versus boys?" Everly repeated in disgust. "What is this, 1950?" She shook her head and went to join the other girls.

Evelyn smiled wide and gave a wild wave at Ben with a grin on her face. Evan stood across from Evelyn, next to Karma, an equally competitive look on his face.

Ben tried to give all signals possible to get Evelyn to stop, but it was already too late. Mr. Gellman turned around, his face as hard as stone.

Ben chuckled nervously, "Uh, hi, M-mr. Gellman." Mr. Gellman leaned closely in Ben's face.

"Benneth Roux, WHY ARE YOU LATE?"

Ben stammered for an answer, but nothing was coming out. He managed to squeeze out an apology and ran away from Mr. Gellman and in line with the rest of the boys.

Evelyn gave an embarrassed look, pursing her cheeks and looking away. She decided to not interact with him the rest of the time. The whistle blew to start, and the two twins went FLYING towards the center. And in their excitement for competition they bashed their heads together. In unison they fell down, rubbed their heads, glared at eachother, made the 'cut-throat-thumb' sign across their necks, grabbed a ball each, and ran back to their respected sides, and balls went streaming at eachother.

Harper left her harp in a place where she thought it would be safe, and quickly went over to join the rest of her team. Like Everly, she didn't really like the idea of pitting the girls against boys in this game, but it'd have to do. She played the game with everyone else, though unenthusiastically. She'd never been good at sports, and now wasn't an exception.

Everly stuck her arm out to get hit by a dodgeball. She'd always hated this stupid game. "Oh, no. I've been hit. What a tragedy," she muttered as she went to sit on the bench. "This is misogynistic!" She yelled at the teacher. "If you didn't view men and women as unequal, you wouldn't have separated us!"

That was a mistake. Everly ended up getting sent to the office. Evelyn and Evan were having WAY to much fun chucking shit at eachother. The two were having more than almost anyone else here, and were glad for the separation.

Everly rolled her eyes as she walked down to the office. "Not that you've just proved my point, or anything…" she muttered. Once she reached the office, she went up to one of the secretaries and asked, "could I see the principle, please? I've been sent to the office for protesting misogyny."

The principle, a woman and a nice but strict one, welcomed you into her office. She had short cut black hair, and piercing blue eyes and an offsetting smile as she sat there. "Misogyny hm? Well. The teachers teach how they want. Maybe it's just easier to separate the girls and boys, since there is an even number of girls and boys in that class. Picking teams invites bullying, picking on the weak and less capable, and could create uneven numbers if the teacher isn't watching or listening closely. And friends get separated. It's the fairest way. Is that ALL?" Meanwhile, Evan was sent to the nurses office for smacking his head a little to hard against a wall. He was barely able to walk straight, and the teacher called on Karma to walk him down to th e nurses office, since he really wasn't participating in the game anyways.

"No, that's not ALL, you've just disrespected me and blatantly disregarded the separation of genders. I didn't say he had to have people pick teams. He could have just split the role list in half, that would have been 'easy'and would have 'separated friends.' And teachers don't get to teach just how they want if what they want is to separate people by gender. This is the 21st century, people need to realise that's not cool," she shook her head as she left the office and went to go sit upside down in a chair.
