“That’s true.” She grinned, tilting her head back a little.

Havenwood kissed Elise's neck for a while then stopped, respecting her. "What now, love?"
“I don’t know. I don’t want to go outside.” She breathes deeply.
"Yeah, I wouldn't want to either." He gently exhaled with her.
“I guess we could just lie here.” Conscience flies up to ask for something (most definitely cheese), and Elise waves her off to the kitchen. “Are you okay? I never asked.”
Havenwood gently kissed her cheek and started stroking Elise's nose with his free hand. "Yeah, I'm okay."
“Good.” Elise smiled. “Conscience and I aren’t arguing as much.”
Havenwood laid his head down and studied her profile. "That's good."
“In fact, all she wants is cheese. You’ll have to stock up.” Elise grins.
"I'll get some wheels from Apollo when this passes." Havenwood grinned too.
“Good idea.” They lay there, smiling at each other, for the longest time.
It was when the moon stopped shining through the broken window was there a knock at the door. Havenwood broke the eye contact and glanced over.
"YEAH? COME IN!"
Apollo walked in. "Hey guys." He ignored the fact they were all over each other and said, "It's over. They've gone from Mt. Olympus."
“Thank god.” Elise sighed in relief.
Havenwood nodded to his twin. "Cool, thanks. Hey, could you bring some wheels of cheese over later today?"
"Uh… yeah, sure."
Conscience flew into the room. “Excuse me, but someone said cheese.”
Apollo blinked at Conscience, shook his head, and walked out.
Havenwood chuckled gently. "Yeah, we're getting you some more."
"Good." Conscience grinned, then flew back to the kitchen. There was a loud thunk.
Havenwood sighed. "The hell was that?" He called into the kitchen.
"Nothing," Squeaked Conscience. Another thud.
"She's probably spilling the refrigerator." Elise smiled. "Rascal."
Havenwood moved to stand up, sighing.
Elise sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for the result.
Meanwhile, Conscience was trying not to spill the entire fridge's contents, barely holding up a loaf of bread that would make everything tumble.
Havenwood walked in, looking rumpled as always. "What the hell?" He walked over. "What happened?"
"There were a couple crumbs of cheese. I got stuck. I got out. This happened." Conscience responded, struggling.
Havenwood sighed and assisted with his big human hands with ease. "There. There's more cheese on top of the fridge. Go crazy."
Conscience squeaked in delight and flew to the top of the fridge, having a feast.
