(i actually agree with @Stargazerwriter78. i definitely prefer hoodies. being really skinny, elastic dresses either cling to me too much or not at all. if i wear a dress, it's gonna have a zip and be fitting because of fabric rather than elastic. sorry)
(ah makes sense, also no wozzies mate, its fine)
(oh yeah, we don't have a description of your character yet, right?)
(no, ive been busy and havent been working on it too much. also im going to wait until @m+ms has theirs posted, so until then you wont see it)
(Ack sorry I haven't said anything yet, I have like no wifi because I'm at my grandparents' house. Um, does the jock/brave guy have to be male, or…? Cause I think it'd be neat for it to be a female character.)
(no, you can do whatever gender you want. take your time, im in no rush to start)
REAL WORLD STUFF
Name: Juno Chavana
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Role: Jock
Appearance: Juno is fairly tall at around 5'7," and is fairly well muscled. She has walnut skin and curly black hair that falls around her shoulders, though she always keeps it in a high ponytail. Her eyes are very round and chocolate coloured. She wears contact lenses usually, but often forgets them and has to wear her glasses, which have thin black frames that dont quite contain the lenses.
Style: She wears a lot of denim, as well as shirts with colourful patterns. She likes converse, as well.
Personality: Juno is very extroverted and very compassionate. She tends to sort of adopt everyone younger than her, and knows how to calm people down. However. She's incredibly competitive, and a complete adrenaline junkie. A lot of people think she's intimidating when they don't know her well, but she's really not.
Likes: Scarves, nature, most people, basketball, soccer, cross-country
Dislikes: Football players, rudeness, guys named Chad
Background: Born in Mozambique, she was relocated at 10 years old and lives with a foster family. She mainly does sports just because she's good at them and wants to get a scholarship, but it satisfies her competitive urges, as well.
Other: Mnope.
GAME WORLD STUFF
Name: Dr. Joyce Braveheart (Definitely not copied from the movie because I'm not creative. Haha. Ha. That would be crazy.)
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fuckin built. But white (shudder). Brown eyes and straight black hair.
Style: …Adventure clothes?
Role: Brave Guy
Strengths: Strength, speed, * bravery *
Weaknesses: Small knives
(Lemme know if I need to change anything lol)
(Don't mind me, I'll be stalking this. Also, when I read the title, I immediately thought of Jumanji, and while typing this out, a ad for Jumanji popped up.)
(yeah i was bored so i lowkey stole the title from the second movie because im lazy. also she's awesome, m+ms)
REAL WORLD STUFF
Name: Lailah (pronounced Lila) Whittakker
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual biromantic
Role: Nerd, but more specifically music nerd
Appearance: Lailah has dark skin with darker freckles dotted all over. Her eyes are a simple brown, nothing really that special about them. Her hair is a dark brown, often confused for black. It is big and tightly curled. She’s also quite tall, roughly 6’2”.
This is important: she’s black and she’s tall.
Style: Lailah likes simple stuff. She will wear jeans, t-shirts, hoodies and converse sneakers. If she’s feeling a little spicy, she’ll wear combat boots.
Personality: Lailah is funny and sweet. She normally prefers to just keep to herself, focusing on her music. She can be a great leader, not that anyone wants to follow her. She knows what has to be done and how to do it, but she struggles taking initiative and actually being a leader.
Likes: Music, her brother, her parents, her friends (if she had any)
Dislikes: Not having friends, people thinking her brother is her boyfriend
Background: Lailah’s parents were never able to have children, but desperately wanted some. Instead of going through a surrogate, they decided to adopt. First they adopted 2 year old Damian, who was the only survivor of a car crash. A year later, they adopted 2 year old Lailah. Lailah was the victim of domestic violence, where her father murdered her mother and then turned on himself. Both children grew up well, at least well-ish.
Lailah grew up to love music, and Damian kinda grew up to be a fuckboy. He’s a year older than she is and no longer goes to school. They have a really good relationship, and he often picks her up from school. Since she is very black and he is very white, people often think that he is her boyfriend. She can’t be bothered to correct them anymore.
Lailah loves music. She loves to sing and to play the guitar. A lot of the time she has to herself is spent in her room, playing. Her favourite artists are Melanie Martinez, Billie Eilish and Lewis Capaldi.
Other:

Luna is also Irish. Lailah is not. This is important.
Style: High key just gonna steal the movie one because I’m lazy and can’t be bothered
Role: Baddass Guy
Strengths: Martial arts (she knows so many that they have blended into her own fighting style); Weapons (she can make anything a weapon, most skilled with nunchucks); Strength; Speed; Lock Picking

"Detention, Miss Charlene."
"Mr Prince, detention."
"Detention, Miss Chavana."
"Miss Whittakker, detention."
—
"Detention? I can't believe it. You know, this is your fault, Vivajenne. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be here. And now we have to pull staplers out of old magazines for a weekend."
Juno blinked. "I - what?" She had never gotten a detention in her entire life. And staples? They'd been given busywork. There were few things in life worse than busywork.
(Do we have a reason why they got detention?)
(Don't worry, I got this)
'I'm sorry, skyscraper. Are you implying that I was the one who got us into trouble?' She looked at everyone in deep offense, opening her mouth in exaggerated horror just to show how the fact she was a little bit shocked. 'It was NOT my fault. If you all hadn't tried to stop me burning all the Industrial Revolution books in the library, then none of this s–t would've happened. More like Industrial REVOLT-ION. Factories flipping… suck.' She scoffed in anger, and flipped her hair forward, glaring at all of them and daring anyone to say something back.
(you can swear, its just weird looking at censored stuff)
"Of course it's your fault, you self centered bitch. We didn't tell you to fucking commit arson! Heaven forbid we try to save the only school for a few miles, the one we go to." Lailah angrily began to pull the staples out of the magazine edge, pissed at Vivajenne.
'Oh, don't you DARE call ME a bitch, when we all know who's talking to me!' She shoved the freckled girl away from her, and then pushed off the magazines onto the floor to lean on the table. 'Besides, who cares about school? School is the absolute worst. My parents can just get a personal tutor with actual GOOD education, and if your place can't afford them, then that's not my problem. It just shows what kind of sucky life you have. As if I should care about school.' She scowled at her with a horrid glare.
"Hey, um. We all have to serve detention together, so maybe you two could wait until we're done to snap each other's necks?" Juno suggested gently before focusing her attention back on the staples. She was already extremely bored; she needed to move.
"What do you mean my place? I don't live in an orphanage. Just because my parents are dead doesn't mean I don't have a family. And I'm pretty sure that you're the one who has a sucky life, what with your parents being rich drunkards. You're named after a wine, for fuck's sake. At least my parents actually look after me and spend time with me."
(you other humans need to reply as well, also someone needs to find the game)
Juno sighed and put the magazine, walking around the room and picking up random objects. "Huh, apparently we won something for math team in the 80s," she picked up a trophy briefly before continuing. "Woah, who keeps candy in a room like this? Ugh, how old is that? That's almost as stupid as having high schoolers pull staples out of magazines," she laughed to herself. "Oh my god, is this an old gaming system? My mom is obsessed with stuff like this," she examined the machine, blowing dust off of it. "Do you guys think it works?"
(There I did the thing lmao)
Carl was in the wrong place in the wrong time. There was yelling and he was well on his way to ignore it when a teacher came rushing down the hall. Apparently there was a report of an attempt of arson in the room he was just passing. He didn't know this or he wouldn't have taken this hall. Mostly because he was technically cutting class but didn't want to deal with any teachers chewing him out. But this was worse. Way worse. Somehow that teacher took one look at him and decided that he had to be apart of the scene.
So that is how he ended up here. On a Saturday. Surrounded by people he did not know and pulling out staples out of magazines. Why was that even needed? The reason given to them was something about the staples having to be out to go to the recycling but that certainly did not sound correct. But who was he to argue with the authority figure handing out his punishment for something he didn't do. Carl wasn't a vengeful person but he vowed to get back at the teacher or whoever caused this mess.
Speaking of mess. There seemed to be a lengthy game of the blame game as two of the girls continued to scream at each other. This was nothing new to him, as his sisters fought loudly all the time at his house. But it was never in his ear or right in front of him. The more they yelled, the louder they got and it was getting harder and harder to ignore. He was about to snap at them when the last person in the room spoke about a gaming system. Carl's head perked up at the opportunity to leave the two girls to their fight although he didn't much about video games. "Maybe. Do you know the exact model of the system?" He answered.
Lailah glared at Vivajenne before walking over to where the other two are. "I love playing video games with my brother." She picked up a controller, and the screen came on. "Jumanji? Have any of you guys heard of it? There's four characters." The others came towards her. "Four character, four controllers. 'Luna Donnolley, Killer of Men'. Don't mind if I do," Lailah said, selecting the character.
(OK yes I just used the og name. I tried to get a generated name but didn't like any so just borrowed
I'm also only gonna have four characters. I might change this later, to make way for an Alex variation, but that is either gonna be a role shared between the four of us or ill let @TotallyNotWednesday-Is-A-Clueless-Potato join. Cross that bridge when we come to it)
'Excuse me? Are you…. DISSING me? I don't NEED parents, I'm basically adult already, you dependent little baby. And how DARE you speak shit about my name, you KNOW that I should be called Charlene!' But this all came out too late, as Laliah walked away towards the other two creeps with a lasting glare. Charlene scoffed, but soon looked back the trio. They seemed to be crowded around a weird, coloured box. One step closer, and then she realized the were looking a game… Jumanji? It sounded a lot like a sort of jungle adventure game. She carefully looked at the sides of the console for any fake guns, but there seemed to be none that she could see, so she bravely stated, '…this looks like fun. You know this game? What do you do? Are there animals?'
