((OOC: If would like Koffee, you can interact with my hydra, as I just recently added them. Entirely up to you though))
Eberaus released a soft snort at the girl's response of him following at a distance. His eyes remained narrowed with slit pupils. His voice was a low growl as he responded, "You may disappear into the shadows, but the shadows will fail to hide your scent."
As if to emphasize his point, the male's forked tongue flicked past his lips, testing the air. He had both Nykidia and Aaron's scent in his mind. So it wouldn't be too hard to track. The dragon had followed scent trails which had been several days to even a week or so old with little to no trouble. As the girl explained some of how the abilities she had worked, it continued to remind him of certain creatures back in his world.
His lips curled back again, "I will stick with following from a distance. I have both your scents, so easy to follow."
He seemed extremely reluctant to allow either Aaron or Nykidia near him. Perhaps it was just the distrust he felt. Well, neither of these individuals have proven to be what he would consider 'allies'. They were just strangers, potential enemies that could turn on him in an instant.
He awoke, stretching out on the bed. He, well, 'they' could hear movement out in the halls. The male moved slowly, setting his feet on the ground, using another hand to scratch his head. They yawned, revealing rows of sharp fangs that belonged to no human.
~Oi, I hear Nirvana is up and moving already, suppose she has food~.
"Hmph, leave it to you to think about food Kirdairn," he muttered out loud.
In his mind, there was a soft chuckle from another, as the other voice snapped back ~Hey! Can't blame me since there is hardly anything to hunt here~.
The male sighed out loud, "Yes, I know, but if we don't try to help Nirvana out, we'll eat her out of house and home."
A second voice suddenly spoke up in their mind, albeit seeming softer than the other, ~We should try to help, as she was kind enough to let us live with her~.
There was an angry snort, but the three seemed to agree. The male stood up, getting dressed, then walking out to the kitchen. Standing there was a shorter female at the stove. She seemed normal enough, except for the pair of long, horn/antenna like protrusions upon her head. The female turned her gaze towards the male. She offered him a cheerful smile, "Good morning Faraneer, Mylnorr, and Kirdairn."
Despite being one man, as he spoke, it sounded like several people were talking at once, "Good Morning Nirvana."
The female stood at the pan, flipping what appeared to be pancakes. Mylnorr, who was currently the one always in control and considered the boss of the other two, walked up beside her. His eyes moved, watching as she worked with the food. The male was silent…except for his other voice who decided to talk…
~Well, we just gonna sit here and stare at the food? Jeez, let me have control~.
The male's form seemed to suddenly shudder. The woman seemed to notice, as she turned her head to look at him. A small frown appeared on her face. The antenna-like protrusions upon her head seemed to twitch, then droop lower.
"Um..Mylnorr…or is this Kirdairn now?"
He shook his head, looking down at her, since he was much taller. The male tried to give her a reassuring smile, "Sorry about that Nirv, you know how he gets…hopefully we can find work somewhere to help you out…"
The female gave him a small smile, "It sure would. Heh, the way you guys eat, surprised I haven't run out of food yet."
Mylnorr gave a sheepish smile, reaching a hand behind, rubbing the back of his head, "Yea…sorry about that…"
"No need to apologize! Just please try to do something. I only make so much at the diner. Anyways, breakfast is done here."
After sitting down and eating, Nirvana and Mylnorr said their goodbyes. Nirvana gave a small wave, then headed off to the diner she worked. As for Mylnorr, he sat there for several moments, then finally stood. He walked towards the door, grabbing a jacket, putting it over his body, then heading outside.
He sighed softly, turning his gaze towards the ground as he walked along the path. Course, Kirdairn had to suddenly pipe in ~So, what's the plan? You know how hard it is for us to get any job. These creatures just don't get things like us~.
~Kirdairn…that isn't true at all…I'm sure we can find a job somewhere~.
