(Do you want to timeskip to when they meet the next day?)
(Sure, let me reply to this one quick though XD I feel bad for being busy all day and I want to get a good response in)
Vanessa's smile grew and she nodded, "Alright then, Mr. Abs, i'll meet you at your gym tomorrow morning, probably around ten."
He was at the gym at 9:30, wearing a nice button up and a pair jeans. It wasn't necessarily fancy, but it was certainly nicer than what he usually wore.
(Lazy setup, IK)
She showed up the next morning at about 9:40, music audible through the car as she parked. Vanessa smile brightly when she saw Lee and waved, shutting off her car and stepping out to meet him. Her outfit was casual but nice, consisting of a pair of black leggings and a matching t-shirt, as well as a forest green bomber jacket and black and white sneakers. "Hey Lee, how's it going?"
"A lot better now that you showed up," he said as he walked over to meet her in the middle of the parking lot. "So, who's car are we taking?"
"i mean, I like riding in your car, unless you want to jump in mine?" She motioned to her car and looked for his, putting her keys into a pocket on her jacket, "I can pay for gas if you need to fill up from us taking your truck."
He shook his head. "We can ride in mine, and I could give two shits about the gas. Need anything before we go?"
Vanessa shook her head, "Nope, I just need my wallet, phone, and keys." She patted her pockets and shrugged, "I have all of that with me."
"Well, then," he said with a small smile, "let's go."
Lee turned around and headed for his truck.
She smiled and followed him, excited to ride in his truck again. For some reason she liked it, though she couldn't figure out why exactly.
"Where do you plan on buying the phone?" he asked, unlocking his door and tossing the keys over to Vanessa.
"Well, what phone do you like better? Apple or Samsung?" She caught the keys and did the same before tossing the keys back to him.
"Eh. I've never used either," he said, shrugging as he got into the car. "Which one do you prefer?"
She got in the truck before answering with a shrug, "I prefer Apple, mostly because that's what I've always had."
He started the truck after struggling with the engine for a bit, then buckled up. "Apple it is, then. So, where are we going to get the phone?"
"Probably just, (Insert generic phone plan place) ." She glanced over at him and bucked up as well, debating about asking to turn on some music while they drove.
"That's, like, an hour long drive," he pointed out, putting the truck in reverse and backing out of the parking spot.
Vanessa shrugged, eyes flicking to outside as they drive, "Do you have somewhere else instead?"
"I don't, actually," he said, smiling as he kept his eyes on the road. "so a long drive sounds great."
A smile crossed her face and she nodded, settling into the seat, "Well then, Mr. Abs, let's get going and find you a phone. Maybe we can get some food afterwards too since it'll be around noon."
"'Mr. Abs,'" he echoed, shaking his head. "Such an uncreative nickname. You write your own lyrics, don't you? Can't you come up with something better?"
"Yes I do write my own lyrics, and possibly, but Mr. Abs is your substitute nickname for now," She replied, grinning barely, "I need to learn more about you before I can come up with an accurate nickname."
"So uncreative," he repeated, scrunching up his nose. "That's worse than the nickname I was given in my fighting camp."
She raised an eyebrow, her grin growing, "And what did that nickname happen to be? Anything I can get ideas from?"
