She nodded, listening carefully as she let her body absorb the alcohol as she drank some more, "They're still not talking to you at all? wouldn't they have accepted what you were doing with your life at some point?"

He shrugged again, staring down at his sandwich. "I guess not. They say I 'damage the family's reputation.'"
Vanessa frowned, looking at the counter for a moment before back up at him, downing the rest of her drink and letting out a sigh, "Well, families are never perfect, but that's more harsh than I've heard before. Maybe some dancing will take your mind off of it for now?"
He smiled, getting back up to his feet. "Yeah, maybe it would."
This song began playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3Qzzggn–s
(It won't bring me to the song)
She stood up and smiled, looking over at him as the song started. Already she was feeling more relaxed and ready to dance.
(The song is Slow Dancing in the Dark)
"Might be a bit weird, but," he offered his hand again, "you down for some slow dancing?"
"I am," She replied with a growing smile, taking his hand, "It'll be interesting right after drinking, but lets do it."
"Have you ever slow danced before?" he asked, raising an amused eyebrow. He was finding it hard to resist grinning.
Vanessa rolled her eyes and flushed slightly, "Pssh, of course I have..sometime, I just can't remember when…maybe highschool. No..middle school." Eventually she just shrugged and blushed some more, 'I don't really know."
"Alright, well, you gotta come a bit closer," he said, gently pulling her closer just as the singing started.
"You put your hand on each of my shoulders, I put mine on your hips, and we just kinda step to the beat."
She nodded, a little surprised as he pulled her closer but doing as he said and gently setting her hands on his shoulders, "Seems easy enough."
"It's less about the dancing and more about the conversations you hold while dancing," he said, almost sheepishly. "I take dance instructions on the side to help with my footwork."
"Lee? The amazing fighter, takes dance lessons? I didn't really expect that," She replied with a smile, looking up at him while following his lead in the slow dance.
"Football players take ballerina lessons for the same thing," he said with a shrug. "I thought dance would leave me a bit more dignity."
(Boop)
Vanessa nodded, her smile growing, "I mean, yeah, right choice there." She looked around and started humming along softly to the song.

(Sry, I was busy XD)
"I gotta admit," he said, smiling slightly. "Hanging out with you has been the most fun I've had in a while."
"I feel bad for you then, I'm not much fun," She joked, her smile growing, "Just kidding. Hanging out with you has been really fun too." Dancing with him was turning out to be quite fun too, he was really good at it even with just the simple slow dancing they were doing.
"I would ask for your number," he said, almost apologetically, "but I don't actually have a phone."
Vanessa looked up at him with a slightly confused look, her cheeks a little flushed as the only sign that she had heard the first part of the statement, "Wait, you don't have a phone? How do you get a hold of people? Like planning for a fight or anything?"
"I'm almost always around my trainer," he said with a shrug. "They just contact him instead of me."
She shook her head and looked up at him, cracking a small smile, "You need a phone, at least so we can keep in contact through all the rumors that are sure to surface. Are you free tomorrow?"
"I should be, yeah." Typically he would've said no, since he didn't like people pays for things of his, but it was an excuse to see her.
