Hatta rolled over a little bit, glancing at her.
Hatta rolled over a little bit, glancing at her.
The nightmare started as it always did. Her chained up and Hatta running from the monster of his father. Unlike the last night her chains felt heavier rather than lighter and she could hardly move from her watch point.
Hatta let out a slow, quiet breath, closing his eyes again.
Aliana's nightmare continued until her sleeping body was shaking and tears were running down her face. In the dream, she could see the hurt on Hatta's face as he did what he needed to do. Until he began to turn into the monster.
Hatta opened his eyes again, and saw her shaking. He took a deep breath, sitting up.
Aliana continued to shake and the unspeakable started to begin. The shaking got worse and she curled up on herself tighter.
Hatta got up, crossing the room. "Aliana." he said softly. "Wake up. It's just a dream."
Aliana kept shaking and her eyes opened wide. She looked frantically around and saw Hatta. Her eyes were panicked and filled with tears threatening to spill over, "H-Hatta?"
Hatta nodded. "Yeah. It's me. You're alright."
Aliana sat up and wiped at her eyes. She used whatever self-control/self-preservation she had to keep herself from flinging herself and hugging Hatta, "You're, you're not turning into a monster?"
(gtg soon)
Hatta shook his head. "Not now. I'm okay."
(Kk)
"Can, can I hug you?" Aliana asked her voice going quieter and meeker.
Hatta nodded. "Yeah, if you want." he repleid softly.
Aliana moved quickly and her arms wrapped around Hatta. She buried her face against him not caring about what he thought about as she let out a shakey breath.
Hatta sighed softly, and hugged her gently.
Aliana was trying her best not to start crying, but it was difficult. God, the nightmare had shaken her up badly.
Hatta held her, rubbing her back gently. "Are you alright?"
Aliana felt the first tear slip down, "I, no. No, I don't think so."
Hatta nodded. "Okay, well…what can I do to help?"
"Just," Aliana took a shaky breath in and out, "Just keep doing what you're doing. Thank you."
Hatta nodded, and kept rubbing her back gently. "Alright." He replied.
It took a few minutes of silence, but eventually, Aliana calmed down. The first word out of her mouth after the silence was, "I'm sorry."
Hatta raised an eyebrow. "For what?" He asked. "You don't have anything to be sorry for."
"For being a mess," Aliana responded her voice soft and filled with a pang of unneeded guilt, "And a deadweight and having so many problems and not being able to control myself and I have so many things to be sorry for."
Hatta shook his head. "You don't have anything to apologise for, Aliana." He replied. "Really."
