Aliana took a bite into the cupcake and hummed a little, "This is really good."
Aliana took a bite into the cupcake and hummed a little, "This is really good."
Hatta grinned. "Didn't I tell you they were?"
"You did," Aliana nodded with a grin, "But I didn't think they were this good."
Hatta smiled lightly. "Mm."
Aliana smiled back, "So how's yours?"
Hatta shrugged a little. "It's good." he replied, taking another bite.
Aliana nodded and continued eating hers, "That's good."
Hatta nodded. The dye in the frosting had already stained his lips blue.
Aliana laughed a little as she saw Hatta's lips. She hadn't been expecting that.
Hatta wrinkled his nose at her, then took another bite.
Aliana stifled her giggling, "Sorry, your lips are blue."
Hatta chuckled softly. "Mm. Lovely. I'm sure that's very attractive." he replied.
"Very," Aliana responded without thinking or stopping her mouth. Her quickly started to turn pinker than the frosting on the cupcake as she tried to backtrack failing quite miserably, "I mean, uh…"
Hatta blinked in surprise, then laughed. "Thanks, I guess."
Aliana laughed nervously as she responded, "Um you're welcome."
Hatta smiled lightly at her, then took another bite of his cupcake.
Aliana smiled back as she focused on eating her cupcake trying to quell her beating heart.
Hatta kept eating his cupcake.
Aliana had almost finished her and looked to the sky, "It's um, getting dark."
Hatta nodded. "We should find an inn or soemthing." he replied.
Aliana nodded and glanced around the town, "Do you, uh, know of one in town?"
Hatta nodded. "Yeah." he replied, getting up. "Come on."
Aliana followed after him. She kept her hands on the straps of her backpack.
Hatta was quiet as he walked, leading her through the streets.
Aliana felt her cheeks burn with a mixture of shame and something else. She didn't know what was up with her today and she hoped her mouth or body wouldn't betray her any further.
