Hatta set up the tent and started a fire, his hat back on his head.

(They should have to share a tent bc drama lol)

Aliana sat down next to the fire humming a little as she pulled out her sketchbook to start drawing a little. She looked up to remember they only had one tent. She looked over at Hatta and bit her lip willing herself not to say anything.

Hatta sighed softly, and pulled out his book and began to read by the flickering firelight, whistling softly.

Aliana was very careful with her pen strokes as she started to draw whatever her mind came up with. She had started by trying to make the background black before shaking her head opted to smudge the ink so it had a cascading effect. As for what the centerpiece was, she was still trying to work that out as she drew.

Hatta kept reading his book, lounging on his side in front of the fire. The light caught in the brim of his hat, casting his face in shadow.

Aliana looked up to see Hatta's face and the shadows cast by his hat and looked down at her sketch to realize that the exact picture was what she had been drawing. Her pinks dusted light, but continued on wanting to see this picture come to an end.

Hatta's eyes glittered from beneath the hat, his focus on the book in front of him, on the words on the pages.

Aliana bit her lip as she continued really liking how it was turning out. She finished the last of it and leaned back to look at her work. Her fingers had some ink on them and from nowhere her stomach growled. She was careful as she wrapped her arms around her abdomen and tried to remember the last time she ate.

Hatta looked up. "Hungry?" he asked, sitting up and closing the book.

"A little," Aliana said as her stomach growled louder. She continued to hold it and gave him a sheepish grin.

Hatta chuckled. He reached into his hat and pulled out some food, holding it out to her.

Aliana took the food hesitantly trying to not to get ink on her meal. She set it on her lap as she went to wipe her hands on a cloth before picking it up again, "Thank you."

Hatta nodded, and began to eat his own food. "Yeah, no problem." he replied with a shrug.

Aliana bit in and immediately started to chow down. She hadn't realized she was this hungry.

Hatta started eating quietly.

Aliana slowed down as she recognized she was eating quite quickly She finished off what she had and sat there..

Hatta finished up after a few moments, and let out a breath. He shook his head a little, running a hand through his hair.

Aliana looked up at Hatta and repeated her earlier self, "Thank you again."

Hatta smiled. "Yeah, you're welcome." he replied, looking into the fire.

Aliana looked a the fire and went back for her sketchbook. She had a grin on as she saw the picture she had just finished and went to work on a new one.

Hatta shifted, and got out his book again. He was having to squint a little to read now, as the sun had gone down and their only light was the fire.

Aliana had to shift a little closer to the fire in order to keep drawing. She had taken inspiration from Hatta once more.

Hatta sighed, and stretched, then kept reading.

Aliana finished the rough sketch stage and went to shading. She let out a sigh and went to wipe her hands to clean them up before resting her hand on her free hand.

Hatta sighed, and kept reading for a while, then stopped. "We should…head to bed." he said slowly.
