Hello there! First and foremost, this is inspired by @WriteOutofTime ’s roleplay that can be found here. On that note, if you’d prefer me not using your idea just say the word and I’ll delete this thread immediately without protest
This is slightly different from the original idea, as the group of strangers will all wake up on an island, each with a black backpack filled with canned food and a item that is personal to them (can be something like a picture or a key chain, etc, can not be something such as flint and steel, a knife, screwdriver, or something that can help them survive on the island, etc). After a bit of exploring and figuring out who’s who, the group find a small shack (like the size of a porta potty) at the center of the island. The shack has a small screen on the outside, describing the rules:
Every two days, everyone must vote for someone to die. They may only vote one time. The votes will be counted and then the decision made public after an hour of voting. If someone refuses to vote, the vote is made null and that person dies.
On the inside, there’s another screen, like a tablet anchored to the building, where the group of strangers will cast their votes.

So I actually won’t be participating in the rp, but I’ll be the one who counts the votes and controls the system/people which your characters are at the mercy of. I won’t have a character (at least at the beginning of the rp) but I will most occasionally describing what’s on the screens and what happens as a character dies.
When the voting happens, PM with your character’s vote, and once all the votes are in, I announce the person who got the most votes to the group.

-Only human characters, no magic
-Swearing and stuff is allowed
-One character per person

Age: 19
Appearance: Astrea has straight, raven black hair that is a few inches shy of chest length. The front strands of her hair are dyed a neon green (similar to the color that Billie Eilish’s hair was when it was green). Astrea is on the pale side, which combined with her hair makes her look a little like a vampire. She has a wide, upturned nose and clever eyes as well as a full, pouty mouth. She has a sprinkling of freckles across her nose and cheeks, and always wears winged eyeliner and dark lipstick. Of course, her makeup is pretty much gone pretty soon into the story, as there is no way to reapply it. She has three ear piercings in each ear and a septum piercing with a simple silver ring. Astrea is wearing a black cropped tank top, dark high-waisted jeans with a cargo pants fit, a black grommet belt, and dark magenta sneakers. She also has an oversized dark magenta jacket and a silver necklace.
