She shrugged. "Your friend Alex here said that he knew the green paladin."
She shrugged. "Your friend Alex here said that he knew the green paladin."
"There's a rumor…" Alex says, looking towards them, "The paladins are in hiding in a quadrant nearby. We could search there."
Zanna asked Alex, "Which quadrant?"
"104th." He says after a minute.
"I haven't been there," Zanna said, "So let's go!"
"Yeah, alright…" He mutters softly. He looks at the coordinates carefully. "Interesting… these come from the 104th quadrant."
"Huh," Zanna walked over, "That's interesting. Maybe Nonie's there."
"Maybe it's a beacon? One that will lead us to the lions." Gwen suggested.
"Maybe, and maybe…" He hums, taking a trembling breath. "Let's go."
"Hyperspace?" Zanna asked.
Gwen groaned. "Do we have to go through hyperspace?"
"It's close enough that we don't have to use hyperspace. It'll take an hour at most." Alex answers after a minute.
She sighed. "Good." Gwen took something that looked like a granola bar out of her bag.
Alex nods before entering the coordinates. He sighs softly, leaning back.
Zanna sighed. A memory came to her, one that happened when she was very young and imprisoned. It was the first of her only dream series. The little girl and the big red lion. Though the dreams never lasted long and she couldn't remember the details. They had been a comfort to her child mind. The night the lion didn't come and Zanna was all alone was the day she was certain had been the end of her happy memories. Now every night she went to that same place in the stars to find herself all alone.
Alex sighs again, his breathing even. "Buckle in and relax. We'll be there soon."
She nodded. Gwen took a seat, taking a bite of her granola bar.
"Wonderful," Zanna sighed.
Alex watches the stars as they zoom by. He hums under his breath.
Zanna stared at the stars. She sighs to herself, "This never gets old."
"You can say that again." Alex mutters, he sighs. Maybe… just maybe the legends of Voltron were true.
"Are we almost there?" Zanna asked. She wanted to see if the lions were there.
"Soon, soon. About 20 more minutes." Alex answers.
Zanna groaned, "That's too long!"
Alex chuckles, "Patience yields focus."
