Axion finishes her tea and yogurt and walks back up to the counter, returning the cups. “That was great. Thank you.” She leaves a tip as she begins to walk out, her headache now worse than before; but she was just trying to be polite.

@blue_topaz

“It’s no problem.”, she said to both Rigel and the other customer. “And thanks for the tip, it’s helpful for a university student like me.” Something inside her warmed at his kindness, and she reached under the counter and pulled out a slip of paper. “This is just a sort of calling card, if you’re being harrassed in here press the tune in the middle and someone will come help out.”

*rune not tune sorry

@Rvan group

Rigel blinked at the rune for a second in small shock. This kind of stuff never really happened to him… He took the paper with a smile, “Thank you. Really. I’ve never really- Well, it’s no secret I’m a tiefling,” Rigel laughed it off, but gave Aethelind a genuine smile before he moved to sit down and enjoy his tea.

@blue_topaz

Aethelind smiled as she watched him go, wiping down the check-out countertop. After serving a few more customers, she felt her thoughts return to Lily.

(What should happen next? Should I do the Aethelind-has-a-break-but-there-are-no-seats-left thing?)

(I dunno, what if there was some kind of shooting/attack on the city, nvm bad idea (I’m super sorry) or big dangerous event that brought everyone to the same hiding place? That’s the first thing that comes to my mind…)

Ooh I like that idea! Omg the implications tho
Before we go to something drastic though, could we do a teeeensy bit more cute domestic stuff?)

@Rvan group

(Yeah, for sure :) I had an rp a while ago where no one actually met each other and it just died…)

Rigel happily sipped his tea, savoring the spiking unique flavor that was like fire. He full on grinned, taking a large gulp. He definitely wanted to come back to this tea shop more often…

@Moxie group

(I know you're not here rn @"Spooky_Tea_ {Topaz}" but can our characters already know each other and/or are friends? I feel like Ryder is too awkward to actually interact with anyone otherwise)

@blue_topaz

(Yeah for sure! Sorry about your inactive characters, that’s my bad, if that ever happens again just let me know and I’ll fix it)

Hunter finishes his tea in record time, jumping from the tree again. I'm going to go to the tea shop again, maybe I'll get a pastry this time!

@blue_topaz

(Do you guys want to do @SpookyRvan’s idea first or find some way for all our characters to end up in the same table and chat?)

I like the shooting idea, Hunter can perhaps help stop it with his magic?//

@Moxie group

(I'm cool with whatever, but if we do the shooting thing it shouldn't be this day, or at least this current moment. Like they should all be in the area and come back)

@blue_topaz

(Yeah good idea)

Aethelind finished clearing up and checked out for her lunch break, paying for a cheese croissant, a little fruit bowl, and a vanilla-almond steamer, and searched for a table to sit at.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Lily took another slip of her drink before just holding the cup in her hands to feel the warmth of it. She smiled a little and placed the cup down, retuning to fiddling with a strand of her hair and scrolling through social media.

Hunter walked into the shop, quickly ordering tea and a pastry. He sat down at a quiet table.
