Aethelind smiled, grabbed a mug from the shelf behind her with a sygil (sort of magic rune thing) on the handle that helped with self esteem, slid it under what looked like an old fashioned dispenser, poured some ingredients through the top of the machine by levitating them up and through the hole in the lid, and popped four marshmallows into the finished drink. “That’ll be [insert price]” She felt something spike her ankle lightly, and looked down to see Ash (the porcupine) looking up at her expectantly. Smiling, she tossed a marshmallow down to him and slid the mug over to the pretty blonde customer.
“Thank-you so much. Could I um… maybe get you’re number too?” Lily asked, biting her lip as she blushed lightly.
Axion throws her mechanicals parts out of frustration and gets up and stomps off toward a coffee shop; she was going to need more caffeine if she was going to make the stupid clock.
Aethelind's head jerked up, and she was surprised to find faint traces of heat spreading across her cheeks. Chamomile (chipmunk), who had been perched up in the rafters until now, dropped down onto her shoulder and gave her a meaningful nudge with his head. "Um, sure." Disappearing behind the counter for a moment and emerging with a slip of paper and a pen, she printed her phone number in neat, looping characters, underneath her name. "You can call me Lindy if my name's a mouthful.", she told the cute girl as she handed her the slip. "And you are?" She hoped her flusterdness wasn't showing on her face.
“Thanks, Lindy. And I’m Lily,” Lily smiled at Lindy before taking the hot chocolate and retiring to a seat near one of the windows, pulling her phone out of her pocket as she sipped at the drink causally.
Axion looks around really annoyed. Clearly not remembering the layout of the place she sees a tea shoppe and starts going for that instead.
Aethelind allowed her eyes to follow Lily as she sat down, but looked away after and focused on her job. She was admittedly cute… but I know nothing about her and I'm at work right now., she told herself firmly, tugging at the bandana fastened to her witch's hat and murmuring a levitation charm to get the marshmallows back up to the high shelf that she was too short to reach. Chamomile gave her a meaningful poke, which she ignored, sweeping Holly off the counter and onto her shoulder.
Axion looks the tea shoppe. Not entirely impressed by it but she just needed energy. She goes to step in.

The bell of the Shoppe tinkled and Aethelind looked up, smiling at the girl who entered. "Hello. WHat would you like today?", she asked politely.
Axion looks up at the menu then shakes her head her headache worsening. “Anything That gives me energy.” She says while still looking at the menu.
Aethelind's mind tingled, her powers subconsciously picking up the fact that the customer in front of her had a severe headache. "Well, if you're looking for an energy drink that will ease a headache, I recommend our Lavender Latte, taken warm. Don't be alarmed by the colour, it's a side-effect of the productivity charm we stir into it."
Axion looks her. “Yea I guess I’ll take then. How much?”
"It's on sale today, so that would be $5.46. You're not allergic to nuts are you? We make it dairy-free with almond milk." Aethelind began preparing her order. "And you look like you might need some calcium, so we've got a selection of mini yogurts for $2.35 right now."
Axion just is taken a back by being bombard with information. “Uhh I am not allergic. Also uhh. I guess I’ll take one of the yogurts as well?” She scratches her head while thinking.
Aethelind gave her a relaxed smile, knowing she could talk way too fast sometimes. "Alright, that'll be [insert price], that's plus tax.", she said, finishing off the drink and sliding it across the counter. "Your mug has been branded with a focusing sygil, by the way, and just return it to the front when you're finished with your drink and yogurt."
Axion pulls out her wallet and pays. “Umm thank you.” She then takes her tea and yogurt and goes and sits down with it.
(I had an idea, what about after one or two more people enter the Shoppe, Aethelind gets a break and goes to sit down, but there are no more empty tables left, so someone invites her to sit with them?)
Aethelind turned to the back shelves and began to organize what was there, exchanging snatches of conversation with the other baristas and tossing snacks down to her three familiars.
Hunter steps into the shop, wrinkling his nose at the bombard of magic in the air. So much magic, not Fae though.
(That sounds cool)
Lily sighed a little and ran her finger over the edge of the cup. She felt jittery and full of energy, probably because she hadn’t shifted for a while but practaically didn’t want to in the present.
The bell tinkled once again, drawing Aethelind back to the counter once again. "Hello, may I take your order?", she greeted the newcomer, who was wrinkling his nose. Please not another pretentious anti-witch campaigner.., she internally thought, crossing her fingers beneath the counter.
( I gtg for the night, sorry)
Con quickly flew in behind him and landed on his shoulder. "Hi, can I get a chamomile tea with a spoonful of honey and some sugar?" He asks politely, Con nuzzling into his neck.
(Sorry I haven’t been on much y’all, I’ve had a lot of irl problems)
Rigel strolled down the street, hands in his pockets and cigarette in his mouth. He had stayed up all night at the casino, so when he spotted a tea shop he immediately entered, a need for caffeine.
(No problem! Sorry about irl, and if you ever need to take a break let us know)
Aethelind smiled when she saw the tiny feathered dragon. “Sure. Would that be to-go, prepared in a mix for home, or just to drink here?” She disappeared from view beneath the counter and emerged with a little jar of treats. “We have treats for familiars too, if you’d like.”
"For here please, and what type of treats are they? Con is allergic to some common ingredients found in familiars treats." He said as Con smacked his head with a feathered wing, telling him to be faster already.
