Vin laughed. “It’s good bourbon. No wonder you don’t waste it.”
Vin laughed. “It’s good bourbon. No wonder you don’t waste it.”
(oof sorry, application errors are fun)
"Told you. The bartenders always keep the good stuff for themselves," Vien chuckled before tipping back the rest of his glass. He looked down at it, licking his lips absently before refilling the glass
(aRRGGG THE same thing is happening to me and it’s deleting my comment back!)
Vin finished his (what, third?) glass and set the cup down on the counter, and leaned back into the counter, somehow getting comfortable.
(yeah it keeps not posting my stuff)
"You want the TV on or something?" Vien asked. If he was being honest, he didn't really know how to have people over. He really only had a few friends, and they were usually too busy to bother with him
“I mean, sure, if you want.” He shrugged nonchalantly.
Vien walked over to the couch, glass in hand as he flicked the TV on. It began to play some documentary, something about planets and stars. He walked back to the kitchen, grabbing the bottle of bourbon before sitting down on the couch
Vin followed him and sat down on the couch too, feeling comfortable.
Vien sat back, his usually perfect posture slumping just a bit as he relaxed into the couch. He glanced over at Vin, icy eyes trailing across his frame for a moment. In the dim lighting, the other was actually…rather attractive. He quickly shoved the thought out of his mind with another sip of his drink
(Ok ima slam his finer details in your face so you have more to work with. I’m terrible with templates, and I usually end up writing it in like a small paragraph.)
Vin curled his fingers together and moved his sharp jaw around, nervously hearing the cracks of his joints. He rubbed his rather pointy nose, and continued curiously watching the documentary.
(lol don't worry, I usually just put basic stuff in the templates and add small details later)
Vien arched a brow at the noises but said nothing, going back to watching the documentary. He loved the stars, which he supposed had been his contract's inspiration for taking shape in the form of the Argo constellation tattooed on the back of his neck. He was feeling faintly tipsy but ignored it as much as he could
Vin, on the other hand, didn’t feel tipsy at all. Perhaps a little free of tongue, but not dizzy. He watched the Astronaut explain with passion what it was like to be up in space and felt distantly curious.
"Space fan?" Vien asked, a smile crossing his face as he saw how interested Vin seemed. He thought it was kind of…nice that the other seemed to enjoy the documentary
“Hmm?” Vin glanced over at him, his gray eyes glinting subtly with the first somewhat sober expression on his face: interest.
“Oh, yeah I have been for a while.”
"I actually have a constellation tattoo on the back of my neck. It's kind of hidden by my hair, but it's there," Vien said, a small smile crossing his face. He turned his head a bit, brushing up his hair so that the tattoo was more visible. It appeared black at first, but it shimmered a sort of dull blue in the light, almost as if the ink used to make it was made out of space
“Awesome…” Vin breathed. “I have a tattoo on my arm.” His right arm twitched gently. “But… it’s kinda, well, dark.”
"Can I see?" Vien asked curiously as he turned around again. "I don't really mind if it's dark or not," he assured him. One of his friends was actually a tattoo artist, so he had become sort of fascinated with them without realizing it
“Ah, yeah, sure.” He took his jacket off to reveal a rather muscular form than what was intended. It was really impressive how well he hid it. The tattoo was of a skull and had a snake running through its eyes and peeling from its teeth. Outlined in an eerie blue, a dagger was running through the nose hole of the skull. The initial color of the snake was a deep red, and the skull was a dim white.
Vien shuffled forward a bit, his curiosity getting the better of him. He had to resist the urge to touch it, knowing that was something most people didn't do. "It's nice," he said, trying to focus more on the tattoo and less on the fact that Vin was almost ridiculously muscular
(ok I’m sorry I am a teenage girl shut up I have to splurge somehow)
Vin grunted and picked his coat back up. “I suppose, but that’s not what others have said.”
(Lmao)
“Well they just don’t know how to appreciate good art,” Vien said as if it was obvious. He took another sip of his drink, his icy eyes flicking back to the TV
Vin rolled his shoulders back and leaned back into the couch with a faint sigh. He moved his eyes up to the TV and continued watching the documentary.
(Oof help, running out of ideas)
Eventually the documentary ended, and Vien sighed. “Well, I thought that would be longer. Apparently not,” he said, rolling up the sleeves of his button down as he did so
(uuuuummmmmm they make out i DONT KNOW IM SORRY cries in corner)
Vin shifted around in the comfortable backed couch and shrugged. “I suppose we could find something else to watch. Maybe we could grab a bite to eat somewhere.”
(Lmao no, they can’t make out when we’re only on page 2)
Vien shrugged. “I would be up for that. What kind of food do you like?” he asked, turning to look at Vin
(then don’t ask The Desperately Bored 15 year old xD)
“Eh, anything. As long as it’s not a vegan place or something.” Vin chortled and leaned back. “Whatever’s fine.”
