"Yes, she's fine," Abby lead the way to her car. She unlocked it and slid into the driver's seat. "So. Suspended for three days." Abby shook her head. "I'm assuming that starts Monday and goes until Wednesday. We'll have to figure everything out later."
"Yeah," Cal muttered, sitting down in the opposite seat as he looked out the window, tugging his hoodie closer to his body as if he were cold. "I'm the one who got in trouble of all people. The principal wouldn't even bother listening to me." He mumbled under his breath, shaking his head faintly as he propped his chin up on the palm of his hand as he watched other cars roll out of the parking lot.
"Why wouldn't he listen?" Abby asked, starting the car.
(OOH HAVE THEM WALK IN ON VEDA AND AARON FIGHTING. THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS AND INTERESTING.)
"The whole school hates me. I'm the loner who doesn't have friends," Cal answered, glancing over at Abby for a few moments. He had always looked forward to coming home every day since at least his family enjoyed having him around.
"No one? No one likes you?" Abby asked incredulously, backing out of her parking spot.
"No one. Zero. Zilch. I'm detested by all," Cal replied, shrugging a bit as he leaned back in his seat, glancing down at his hands as he tried to wipe some of the blood off. If there was something he completely hated, it was blood. "Except one girl. But, she only talked to me once last week at lunch."
"WELL AT LEAST I CAME BACK!" Aaron shouted. "AT LEAST I DIDN'T BETRAY YOU!"
"I can't believe you!" Veda shouted back. "WHY DO YOU KEEP COMPARING YOURSELF TO CARTER?!"
"WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO??!!"
(And the next part of this argument will be what Cal and Abby walk in on..hehehe…)
"Okay then," Abby said with a frown. Their apartment wasn't that far from the school, so it was only a couple minutes before Abby slid the key into the lock. She paused, listening to the shouts for a moment.
Vivian really had no idea what was going on. She decided to stick to her apple juice.
"What's that noise," Cal asked, a twinge of concern in his tone as he leaned in, listening to the shouting coming from the apartment. He hoped Veda was alright and looked towards Abby with a worried expression, hoping that she would open the door soon.
(OPEN THE DOOR. Also you'll be waiting in suspense for a bit bc I gtg brb)
Abby opened the door and ushered Cal into the apartment in one smooth motion. "Veda, what's going on?"
At that monet Olivia emerged from the kitchen "I have brought food!" she annoucned setting th table, "Sit down and eat then argue."
"STAY! JUST STAY! I DON'T NEED A PRINCE CHARMING I NEED SOMEONE TO STAY!" Veda shouted at Aaron. Tears streamed down her face. "Everyone leaves eventually. I thought–I thought you'd stay." She said, her jaws clenching as she wrapped her arms around herself, tears falling fast. Aaron was so shocked that he froze, his mouth open.
"Veda…" Cal said softly, glancing towards the man in the room as he glared at them for making Veda cry. He moved towards her, pulling them into a loose hug in an attempt to comfort her. If there was one thing he hated, it was seeing Veda or anyone else in the apartment hurt.
Veda leaned into Cal, letting him hug her. Aaron clenched his jaw, but he stood back. "Veda I'm sorry." He said softly. "I'm sorry. If I could take it all back I would."
(GAAHHHH GUYS I'M SOOOO SORRY THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LIGHT AND HAPPY RP)
(LOL IT'S OKAY ANGST IS ALWAYS COOL)
Veda leaned into Cal, letting him hug her. Aaron clenched his jaw, but he stood back. "Veda I'm sorry." He said softly. "I'm sorry. If I could take it all back I would."
"What did you do to her," Cal spoke up, though it came more out as a demanding answer than a question. He glared at the man, pulling away from Veda for a few moments.
Aaron put up his hands defensively, but then looked down guiltily. "I–I should have stayed. I didn't think–"
"Exactly! You. Didn't. Think!" Veda returned. "You knew–" Veda choked."
(Somebody kick Aaron out this'll be interesting. He'll come back, don't worry.)
"I dont know what exactly you did, but i think you need to leave buddy" Kendra said standing and walking toward Veda and the ever so weird Aaron. "If you dont leave willingly i wouldnt mind showing you out, or better yet ill have the police escourt you out." she smiled in a fake sweetness.
Abby didn't know what to do. She just watched the scene go down with a look of horror on her face.
Aaron opened his mouth to protest, then changed his mind. He clenched his jaw and hung his head in shame. "I'm sorry Veda. I'm so sorry." He whispered, his voice breaking. He left as quickly as he had come in. As soon as he left, Veda made a strange squeaking sound and ran into hers' and Abby's room, tears streaming down her face.
Abby followed her and shut the door before anyone else could. She didn't say anything, just sat Veda down on the bed, sat next to her, and gently rubbed her back.
