"Why're you thanking me? It was all you, Babe," Elowan chuckled, finding Ash's embarrassed behavior entirely adorable. She petted Ash's hair, twirling a few strands around her fingers as she contemplated. Eventually, she asked: "Want to go on a date tomorrow?" voice shy and vulnerable. She bit her lip, waiting for a response.
"A date?" Ash repeated, pulling away from Elowan's side and looking up at her with wide, icy eyes. After a few moments of thinking, she nodded quickly, a bright, rare grin crossing her lips.
Elowan frowned when Ash pulled away, frowned even more deeply when she got no answer, and then let her face break into a bright smile when Ash nodded. She let out a squeal of joy, pushing the girl back into the bed with her hug. "Really? For real?" She asked, not quite believing that this girl was saying yes to her of all people.
"For real," Ash answered, laughing lightly as she was pressed back down to the bed once Elowan hugged her. She wrapped her arms around the other as well, a content smile remaining on her lips as she buried her face into Elowan's shoulder comfortably.
Elowan grinned, pulling Ash up for a kiss. "Where do you want to meet up?" She murmured, a light blush covering her cheeks. Ash was going on a date with her! They were going on dates! Well, they were going on a date. A date was more than enough.
"There's a nice bowling alley and pizzeria next to my house," Ash proposed with a small hum, pressing her lips against Elowan's for a few moments before she pulled away. She wrapped her arms around the other's neck, almost as a way for her to stay as close as possible to the other.
Elowan smiled. "That'd be really nice. When do you wanna meet up?" She asked, adjusting herself so she fit into Ash's arms better. It was warm and nice. Nothing could've made this night better- Actually, that was a lie. Watching crappy movies on her apartment couch could make this night better. "Want to go chill at my place? I really wanna watch a movie."
Ash nodded quickly, planting a soft kiss to Elowan's lips as she began to push herself off the bed in order to leave the party. Once she had pushed herself up, she yawned and stretched, adjusting the oversized jacket she read, the backstitching reading "Yellowstone Park '78." It had been her parent's old jacket, though she didn't mind that it was a bit large on her.
(Sorry I've been dead!)
Elowan leaned into the kiss, whining briefly when Ash left the bed. Ash shrugged on a way too big jacket and Elowan stared at it, at her. She made a questioning noise, quirking her head to the side. "What's that?" She asked, pushing herself up so she could sit criss-cross on the bed.
"It belonged to my parents," Ash explained as she turned around, showing Elowan the detailed stitching on the back. "Like it?" She added, a faint grin crossing her face as she turned towards Elowan again, waiting for their answer. Ash had always been a fairly odd dresser; from wearing band shirts and jackets that were too big for her and long sleeved shirts under short sleeved ones. Though, she had always enjoyed it, so her style never changed.
"Yeah. It suits you." Elowan pulled herself off the bed, crossing over to give Ash a kiss on the lips, wrapping her arms around the girl's slim waist and settle on her hips. The jacket was obviously very important to Ash. It reminded Elowan of the ring worn on a string on her neck. It used to be Adrien's, but Adrien was gone now. She wore it as a reminder of him. Right now the chain was barely peeking out from her shirt, ring resting on the skin of her chest.
