“That’s a really weird plan.”

“You’re a weird plan.”

“I’m a cute one, actually.”

He flushed pink and looked away, clearing his throat. “So London can help us figure out the plan.”

“To save Cal from Ailith’s boyfriend? I don’t get it. Why are we saving him if he’s just with Ailith’s boyfriend?”

"I had a plan for that. Getting around Miss Swiss shittyhole's boyfriend. I told y'all about it already." Marya grabbed an apple from the centerpiece and took a bite. Her eyes flashed when she looked at London, giving him a cool grin. "I have another plan…."

Ailith looked over at London, “I don’t have a boyfriend.”

“Well I wasn’t here. Nor are you guys answering my questions.”

"I wasn't there," Ailith said, "All I know is that he's a mind controlling creepy little kid that works for the king."

“A what? So that’s the dude we’re saving Cal from?”

"Someone who goes into your mind and controls you like a puppet," Ailith, "And yeah that's him."

“That’s one crappy boyfriend ya got there…” London said, rubbing his chin with one hand and keeping the other around Marcus. “What’s his weakness?”

"Again not my boyfriend," Ailith said, "I'm single."

The princess came. Again.
"Do you just come to bother me?" Cal sighed, finally speaking up.
"No, you're the first fairytale character I've met." The girl said excitedly. "What's your name?"
"Cal. . . Cal Carose." He said slowly, wondering if he shoulder tell her. What does it matter? The whole kingdom already knows your name.
"I'm Lilith." The princess said quickly, brushing a lock of blonde hair behind her ear. "But, you can call me Lily." Cal nodded, leaning against the prison wall again.
"If you're the son of Eros," Lily began, gesturing grandly. "Do you have his love arrows? Have you used them before?"
"Only if I want some really cute girl to like me." Cal replied, a small smirk on his lips. "But, it helps me get in and out of places."

Marcus could feel a blush start to creep up his face again.

“Some traumatic past?” Nimue suggested, shrugging. “Awful lot of those running around with the king.”

"We could try to overwhelm his mind powers?" AIlith suggested, "If we all did multiple things quickly maybe he'll become dazed?"

“Guys I hope you haven’t forgotten I can turn invisible. I’m a freaking Cheshire.”

“R-right.” Marcus, to be perfectly honest, had forgotten almost everything of importance to the mission.

"I thought I suggested the memory-eraser? If he doesn't have a mind to control, he can't control the mind. Case closed." Marya propped her feet up on the coffee table, stretching and yawning.

“Yeah, But then you’d forget why you were there and we’d have to get you in somehow.”

"Argh, I'll think of something. We could send a robot?"

London sighed, rubbing his forehead.
