"Normally I would complain about looking after you two, but this is going to be fun." she flashed a grin at them and sat down in a chair nearby, running her finger along the edge of her battle axe.

"Cal, should I be worried?" Ailith asked her.
"Cal, should I be worried?" Ailith asked her.
"For your wound? It should be fine," Cal started, but was cut off my another round of coughs. "We have the Daughters of Belle and the Three Good Fairies. You're in good hands." The nurses continued to add ointments as Cal winced.
"Yeah that's good," Ailith sighed, "But I'm more worried about Mayra."
She swung her axe over her shoulder, considerably bored. "I haven't eaten for a week. I'm damn hungry."
"Let's get you something then." Cal replied, pushing himself off of his cot. He gasped in pain, but covered it up with an easy smile. "Uh, I need to get a shirt first. . ." He said sheepishly as he looked around the room.
"Hell no." she got up and put her hands on his shoulders, looking him in the eye. "Get back onto the cot, Cal. You need to fricking rest, you raspberry assnut."
"I don't need rest," Cal said drowsily, waving Marya off. "We haven't seen you in a while. . . and I want to do something with you." He finished, resting one hand on her shoulder for balance. The nurses were practically yelling at him to sit down.
"Stop acting all sweet and making me feel guilty. You can spend some time with Ailith while I'm grabbing some food." Marya picked him up and laid him on the bed. "If you stay, I'll give you a reward?"
Ailith looked at the ceiling, the events replaying in her mind. She shot up and groaned slightly, "My bow! Where's my bow?!"
"Calm the frick down, we'll find your damn bow. Just rest." Marya turned sharply to look at Ailith.
"Stop acting all sweet and making me feel guilty. You can spend some time with Ailith while I'm grabbing some food." Marya picked him up and laid him on the bed. "If you stay, I'll give you a reward?"
"Like a kiss?" Cal asked innocently, a weak smirk on his lips.
Marya turned back towards Cal, unamused. "I meant something more like a picnic next to a pretty lake."
"You better," Ailith leaned back her arms crossed, "I've spent way to much time on it."
Marya turned back towards Cal, unamused. "I meant something more like a picnic next to a pretty lake."
"Even better." Cal replied, flashing a crooked grin.
(Cal has to be one of my favorite character's to rp with xD )
(I like him too)
Marya glared at him. "Not romantic. I'll probably be eating a couple of baby back ribs." she swung her axe over her shoulder. "And ol' Cooper here will probably be next to me too."
"Come on, Marya, I'm the son of Cupid. Everything is romantic for me." Cal smiled, sighing dramatically.
"Come on, raspberry assnut, I'm the daughter of the Big Bad Wolf." she bared her teeth, growling. "Everything is delicious to me. Who says I won't eat you?" she smirked, twirling her axe in her left hand.
Cal frowned slightly at that, but it was quickly replaced with an amused grin. "I hope you won't eat me, but I can't stop you if you have teeth like that."
"I'm gonna leave you with Ailith now." Marya tapped his nose and walked out of the room, still swinging her axe. "Be good!" she called out, closing the door behind her.
"I'll try not to burn the whole building down." Cal called out as he watched Marya walk out of the room. He turned towards Ailith and began to study her. "Daughter of Merida, right?"
"Yep," Ailith nodded, "Son of Eros? Leader of the rebellion? Wow I just put that together."
Marya headed to the kitchen, pulling out a slab of meat and sprinkling spices on top of it.
"Yep," Ailith nodded, "Son of Eros? Leader of the rebellion? Wow I just put that together."
"Yeah, son of the god of love. You must have seen my pathetic attempt at flirting." Cal replied, chuckling lightly as he leaned back.
Ailith smiled, "Better than any attempts I've ever met."
