Five more minutes?
I’m going to be asleep in five minutes.
Nimue sighed and looked at her friends. She quietly whispered, “I have to go.”
Five more minutes?
I’m going to be asleep in five minutes.
Nimue sighed and looked at her friends. She quietly whispered, “I have to go.”
"You shouldn't be flirting in your condition." she leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "This is all a dream."
Cal nodded and leaned back against the cot, looking around for his shirt. He gave up as his eyelids grew heavy, noticing Nimue walking out of the room. Where is she. . . going? Cal thought groggily as his breathing slowed. The nurses continued to add ointments and stitches to the wound as Cal looked up at Marya, his messy hair falling across his face.
"Nimue? Where are you going?" Marya turned, her hair tickling Cal's nose.
“I gotta go,” she echoed, her own voice sounding strange to her. “Insurance issues, and all.”
She didn’t know what she was saying.
But she also knew it wasn’t Kirin making ernsay them.
"Oh. Okay. Don't take long, then. We'll be waiting for you." Marya pointed at Cal and herself, smiling brightly.
“You will,” she said pointedly before walking away.
The hell?
That wasn’t me.
That wasn’t me.
Well, that may be an issue. Either way, please hurry up so I can sleep.
Impatient bastard.
"That didn't make any sense." Marya turned back towards Cal, "Did it make sense to you? Why is everyone acting like a dipshit all of a sudden?" she ran her fingers through his hair, complaining and cursing.
Nimue made her way through the trees, suddenly tired as hell. She stopped right in front of the tree they’d been in and looked around. “Over here,” a quiet voice said.
Kirin was slumped by another tree, half-asleep. He blinked drowsily at her as she walked over.
“Are you alright?”
“Told you, ‘m tired.”
“Go to sleep, then.”
“Was about to.”
She sat down next to him, curling up onto the ground as well. She too, was soon asleep.
//gn, I probably won’t be on h til like, three thirty-three forty five tmrw

Cal looked up at Marya, squinting to keep his eyes open. "I don't know. . . maybe something is messing with her." He yawned, taking her hand in his.
( Anyone on? Well, except for @ImNotCrazyImAFangirl )
(Hi! I'm still unconscious!)
"I guess we'll just have to wait to find out." Marya sat down next to him, in deep thought.
Cal played with a strand of Marya's hair, and after a long pause, he looked up at her. "I'm sorry, Marya. . . you probably hate me now. But, I'm sorry."
"Hey, it's okay, you raspberry assnut. I've sort of forgiven you. You're just stuck with an awful nickname now." she was almost to close to him for comfort, but she still leaned in, closer.
"I like it, Little Wolf." Cal replied, breaking out into a boyish grin. He wished that the nurses would give him his shirt back.
"I would ask you not to call me that, but I think we're past that point now." Marya twitched her ears. "My tail's gone though, so I'm not a full wolf anymore." she put her arm around him.
Ailith groaned, she sat up slowly.
"Don't worry, you still look great." Cal grinned, leaning in subtly, studying her brown eyes.
Marya's ears perked up and she slid from the bed that had Cal, walking over to Ailith's bed. "Ailith? You awake, hon?"
"Yeah," Ailith groaned, "I feel like death. Am I dead? Are we all dead?"
"No. We're not. You're alive, so huzzah?" Marya checked the screen for Ailith's vitals. "We'll have to keep you in for a few for some more checkups, but I think you're all set for now."
"Huzzah," Ailith laid back down.
One of the nurses pushed Cal back down on the cot, lifting his bandaids to check the wound. "It's at least two and a half inches deep and may have punctured-" The nurse started, but was cut off by Cal's coughing. "It may have punctured something, so we'll have to keep you in the infirmary for a while."
