Zoe emerged from her spot in the tree. "Nice job guys, I was trying to make my way back to Neverland and start a rebellion there." She suggested.

Marya gave a sigh of relief when she saw Cal. "We have to stick together, man. Stop running off."

"What did I say, Marya? Go. I don't need you here right now." Cal replied bluntly, his gaze hard and cold.

I'm trying.

@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

Oh goodie. I can’t really force them out without giving myself away.

Nimue winced, But her eyes flicked up to where she figured Kirin would be. Asshat.
Would you prefer they all die?

@Lenered

"Look Cal, I don't want you being an asswipe in front of all of these people, so can you just come back with me?" Marya motioned to the newcomers and crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Listen to me, okay? You're bleeding and you're going to die if you don't leave right now." Cal answered stiffly, his fingers tapping on the edge of his bow. I don't know if I can get her mad. . . just knock me out and take me or something. "You're not helping, Marya." He finished, glaring at her. His heart hurt from saying such things to his friend, but he had to.

@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

I can try?
He reached for Nimue!s mind and took ahold of it again, her powers turning the entire area dark in a few moments. At the same time, he told Cal to turn and run into the forest. The screaming would cover the sound of his disappearance.

@Lenered

She clenched her jaw, glaring at him. "Why are you staying? What's so important that you have to stay? Listen to me."

Deleted user

(Sorry that I disappeared)

"Marya, leave. It's not safe and you aren't helping if you stay." Cal answered bluntly, his gaze still hard. Even to him, his own voice sounded hollow. He was giving himself up and hurting Marya. "Just, go. . . got it?"

@Lenered

"Fine. Go die in a fricking ditch for all I care." she stormed away, long blonde hair trailing after her. The pain that came with each step was blinding and Marya stumbled her way towards anywhere, not knowing where she was going.

Cal closed his eyes and let out a pained sigh. Not pain from a cut. A different kind of pain, but it felt like an important organ in him was missing as he watched Marya walk away.

What now?

@Lenered

She fell onto the ground and curled up next to a tree, hoping for Nimue or Cal to come around the corner. Preferably Cal, but only if he was there to apologize. He was being such a wet sock.

I can't go like this. . . give me a day, please.

@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

Yes. Insurance. He couldn't keep mind control up forever.

//I gtg, pretend the trade happened and like, say it's nimue to get my other character out of the way :P
I'll be back tonihgt

Cal closed his eyes for a moment, thinking it through. Was he capable of giving someone up for his own sake? His father's, Eros', word's cut into his mind. Everything has a price, Cal. Remember that. He had to. He couldn't leave Marya.

(K, so he got Nimue.)

@Lenered

Marya closed her eyes and leaned against the tree, struck by a sudden realization. She couldn't get back to the base without Nimue. And what about the others? Her grief had melted down and cooled into a fiery anger. Cal can come back by himself. I don't goddamn care anymore.
"Nimue?"

Deleted user

( Should we just say that they made the deal? )
( Cal's going to be sad b/c he didn't realize that it would be Nimue. wipes tear away)

@Lenered

(yeah, sure)
(Mar-Mar would be heartbroken if she knew it was her fault that Nimue was traded off)

Deleted user

( Yeah, but it was mostly Cal's fault )
( I guess they would be back at the base )

Deleted user

( Yup xD )

Cal was sitting in the infirmary and waiting for Marya to get stitched up. He held his head in his hands, wishing he had never made the deal. You're an idiot. Everything has a price, Cal. Idiot. He kept repeating the same thoughts over and over again, but he knew it wouldn't make a difference.
