“Get off.”
“Get off.”
Ailith heard the guards, she got up and began running towards where the others had gone to.
“But.”
Rhys followed Ailith after he heard the marching of soldiers.
“Come on, Get off.”
“Do I get a hug?”
“N-no,” he said, the blush creeping up his face again.
“Then I’m staying,” London huffed childishly, sticking out his tongue.
“Fine.”
-
What are you doing?
Just trust me.
Nimue collapsed into the bushes, confusion racing across her mind. As she stared up, bright, clear grey eyes met her black ones. His hair was blue.
“Y…” He freed me, she realized. I can talk of my own accord.
“Shh, don’t question it,” he whispered. He glanced over his shoulder as soldiers stomped past.
When the last of them were gone, he gently picked her up and walked farther into the forest. She didn’t fight.
“What are you doing?” She whispered as he set her down.
“Saving your life.”
“What’s your name?”
He hesitated.
“Kirin.”
“To the hug?” London gasped excitedly.
Cal ran after Marya, but stopped and turned around, drawing an arrow and letting it fly loose. These ones didn't have heart shaped tips, but were instead silver, coated in something glistening. Poison arrows. It struck one of the guards in the chest, making him fall on the ground and gasp as the poison began to work.
Ailith caught up to them. Her bow had no arrows so she couldn't help them out.
"Holy crap. God, why, why, why, why, holy fricking crap on stick." Marya stopped and kneeled down, next to Cal. She slapped his face, "I will haunt you in Hell if you die on me."
"I won't die, Little Wolf. I can shoot and everything." Cal said, winking at her as he let another arrow fly at the next guard.
"That's fricking nice and all, but we have to go." Marya grabbed his hand, "C'mon. Don't make me kill you."
"Keep going, I'll hold them off." Cal said, reaching back and grabbing another arrow from his quiver. He let it fly, hitting another guard straight in the chest. It was almost impossible to hit all of them. They kept on coming.
"No fricking way." Marya grabbed her knife. "I would gladly die by your side. But I was planning on doing more things in my life. With you. Okay? So let's go." she tugged on his shirt. "C'mon."
Ailith stood next to Cal bow at the ready, "If I could have some arrows I could help out."
"No fricking way." Marya grabbed her knife. "I would gladly die by your side. But I was planning on doing more things in my life. With you. Okay? So let's go." she tugged on his shirt. "C'mon."
"I'm flattered that you want to be with me, but I need you to find Nimue right now. Keep her safe." Cal answered, passing a few arrows to Ailith. He showed her a few of the feathers. "Green is poison. Black is normal. Red is fire."
( Gtg for a little )
"Not be with you, I meant like friends and-you know what I'm just going to leave now." Marya pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Stay safe you damn idiot." and she disappeared, going back for Nimue.
Ingrid ran through the forest when she heard other footsteps running. She looked through the leaves and saw guards chasing other people.
They must be good since the guards don't like them.
Ingrid ran as fast as she could without tripping over her dress towards the direction the good guys were running.
Ailith put a black feathered arrow in her bow. She pulled it back and shot it at the guard nearest her. He fell to the ground. She continued to fire arrows at them.
Rhys turned to look at the soldiers. He seemingly whispered to himself, but he was really asking the voodoo spirits to help him out. Shadows appeared from the trees and attacked a few from the back.
Blood was flowing freely from her mouth as Marya found her way back to the bushes, just about to get Nimue, a dozen guards stopped her. She cracked her knuckles, glaring at them.
"I'm going to give you one chance to run the Hell away."
They didn't move.
"Okay then, don't say I didn't warn you." she pounced on them, using her sharp teeth to rip through their necks and bite down on their flesh. As more and more fell, more and more kept coming. After defeating as many as she could, Marya felt a pain slide through her stomach. A blade.
Dozens of bodies littered the floor, almost all of them, but one. Just one. And they'd gotten her. Marya fell to the ground, blood coming up her throat and choking her. She fought to stay alive. Not today. Not now. She reached out, stabbing her knife in the guard's foot. She held onto him, pulling herself up as he tried to attack. With one heavy blow, she knocked him out cold.
The world was getting darker.
And darker.
And she was falling.
Drowning.
Dying.
So much blood.
Complete darkness.
