Cal rolled his eyes, used to Marya always insulting him. "Fine. I'll watch Marya since she always gets herself into trouble somehow."
"I can at least get myself out." she glared at him, crossing her arms.
“You two need to stop bickering,” Nimue rolled her eyes. “Honestly, you guys never change.”

"I know. So, where are we going? The base moved again, right?" she asked, blood dripping from her cheeks and mouth. Marya wiped it away with her arm and turned to look at her other wounds. I really need to patch these up.
