Just as Elliot finished packing and moved to leave the room, a loud ringing cut through the silence. He ran out of his room to see other people looking around, just as confused as he was.

"Awesome," Mara breathed. "That is so cool!" She pulled her hand away and hurried to her area of the room, making a small, amused face at the mess in front of her. She sighed and shook her head, moving to pull her suitcase from the floor.

Portia smiled broadly at Mara’s excitement. She had actually managed to impress her roommate! Just then, a loud noise cut through the calm, and she shot to attention, running out into the hallway. “What’s going on?” she called.

Elliot looked around him, "I think it's a fire alarm!" he shouted, though he wasn't too sure.

Levi sat up immediately, leaped to the floor and ran to the door. He stood in the doorway and watched everyone running in every direction. "What do you think happened?" He yelled to Harry over the noise. "Do you think its a drill or…?"

Cat saw everyone piling out of the building and she stood up. She heard the fire bell and ran over to the crowd. She heard people talking about a drill but why would they make a drill for the first day? She looked around to maybe find her roommate but she didn’t recognize anyone. She hated that she couldn’t just ask someone.

Before ivy could do much she heard a shrill noise and flinched. She saws many other students go running out of their forms and decided it would be best if she followed.
She walked briskly down the stairs, through the front door, and outside in front of the building. She looked around hoping to spot someone she was familiar with.

Portia followed the crush of bodies, uneasiness fluttering around in her stomach. She hadn’t really had the time to memorize the campus, so her abilities wouldn’t really help in case there was some kind of attack, and she still was in a bit of a daze from her last jump.

Raine stopped dead in his tracks at the sound of the bell. He started walking at a brisk pace towards what he hoped was outside. Somehow he had ended up in an empty part of the school. He couldn't see or hear anyone. Where were all the students and faculty? He could feel his heart start to beat faster. Alright, stay calm, he thought. He bit down hard on the inside of his cheek and felt some feelings of fear and confusion down a hallway to his left. He started to run down the hallway, then stopped and bit his cheek again. The feelings were still down this hallway, but he could feel them getting stronger and closer. Finally, he heard them. He continued to run until he was surrounded by students. Raine breathed a sigh of relief and followed everyone outside.

Elliot looked around at the other students, wishing that he knew someone. Teachers were directing them now, towards the school’s football field, but were looking as scared as the students. “What the hell is going on?” he muttered to himself. There couldn’t already be a fire, could there?

Mara hadn't really cared about the loud noise, until the shouting started. She straightened and looked around, her brow furrowed. She went to the door and peered out. Students were running through the halls, heading for what appeared to be outside. She shook her head. "What is going on?" She asked. She pulled her jacket from her bed and followed, albeit at a much slower pace. Soon she was practically alone in the halls.

Levi stepped into the almost empty hallway. "Is it bad that I can't tell if I should be going with them or not?" He shrugged, if it was dangerous, he could live through it.

Mara turned her head in the direction of the voice, and shrugged. "I don't really want to go. I don't see what all the fuss is. So I'm taking my time."

Cat saw Ivy leave the building and tried to wave her over. She walked a little closer but she didn’t want to get too close to the building. She got her notepad ready.

Harry shrugged. "Let's just go with them, nothing's going to happen if we don't."

"Agreed." Levi said as the group slowly made their way outside.

Ivy caught a quick motion out of her peripheral view and glanced over. She saw Cat waving her over. She relaxed a little, finally recognizing someone and made her way through the crowds of people towards her then eventually got close enough to where she could talk to her. “Im so glad I found you,” Ivy sighed.

Cat nodded and smiled slightly in agreement. “Do you know what’s going on?” she wrote in big letters before showing Ivy.

Ivy took the notepad and read the big letters. She sighed and shook her head. “I’m not sure. I hope it’s nothing serious though. It sounds like some type of alarm. A fire alarm maybe.” She handed the notepad back to cat. “I hope everyone’s okay.”

Cat nodded and took the notebook back. she looked around gripping it tightly. She tried to smile but the loud noise and everyone panicking were starting to drive her crazy. She walked back to tree hoping Ivy would follow.
