Jack felt a surge of energy leave his body, only to feel it come back twice as much. the pain hit him, he tried not to show it. though he felt Elexion's presence whither. "It…is working."

Rosemary was watching, not knowing what was happening or what she should be doing.

Jack's eyes turned white. the energy in his eyes moved. "I can feel it. It worked. But I cannot guarantee that it is a permanent effect."

Shaiya let her power flood out of her body, the prickling pain growing with Jack's.

Then a blast of enormous energy from Jack knocked everyone away. Jack curled in a ball, drawing the energy back in.

Shaiya climbed to her feet and stood over Jack, offering a hand.
"Feel different? Un-cursed?"

He helped both up, "Yes, I can feel the difference. But my…state of being…is far more different than Monty's."

"Hmm. Well, what do we do now?"

I looked for Monty or the kitsune, nowhere to be in sight. "We must leave him. Everyone knows that a kitsune cherishes freedom. But-" Just then, he felt a red energy-based dagger go through him. Kai had returned. Jack smiles and speaks softly, "You can't ill a-" Kai silences him. Jack slides the red bladed sword over to Shaiya "Do…It…"

Bright blue power once again pulsed violently between her fingers, pulling itself from the air, tearing at Jack.
“I’m not killing you.”
Her power grew brighter, taking a tint of orange as it got bigger. The air turned acrid. “This will work.”

Jack, unable to speak, grew annoyed. His eyes grew white. Kai then put another blade out and put it through his head, "None of that." he said. "Now I want you to think abut how you could of had all that power. Eternal life. Now I'm going to take a seat among the New gods."

Shaiya's eyes darkened.
"I told you to leave. I am going to get really pissed if you keep showing up.

Kai turned to Shaiya, "You really don't understand who you're-" Kai sees the blade on the floor, attempting to get it. Jack yelled, "Don't let him get it!"

Shaiya lunged for the blade, throwing herself on top of it, and bringing her foot to Kai’s face, knocking him away.

As the daggers disappeared, Jack held out his arm. Energy shot out of his hand and shot at Kai. He disappeared and cut Shaiya right before then.

The girl clutched the wound as she rushed up to Jack.
"You okay?" she asked.

"no." Jack said. "He removed my connection to my other state….he removed my God form

Shaiya frowned, pulling at her hair.
"What do we do? We need to get somewhere whee he can't get to us."

So, Jack has been possessed by a demon named Kai multiple times. Shaiya has tried to help and the Kitsune is gone.

Jack rushed over Shaiya, "damn! I didn't give it to you in time!" He pulls out a ball of light and tries to cleanse the wound. "Please, please, please work!"
