Gij was running. He was running hard and for his life. He held an animal to his chest, he could feel it flailing as he ran. There were people running after him, but they were no policemen. They were wild-faced Sirens, except they were on land. They were mad; hella mad. Gij turned a corner and ran straight into someone, and collapsed onto the ground. The Sirens run past, but the person he ran into has been stopped from what they were doing and was staring at the dragon-like thing that Gij was holding. Your character will be the unsuspecting person. There's also shipping if you want.
(I would like to point out that I'm not going to be offering a template. So if you want a template for your character, you're gonna have to make it up yourself. If you're okay with that, come onnnn inn)
(Please join I"m bored and I like this idea. If you want you may ask or just start playing the character if you had one in mind. LGBTQ+ is not minded but I would like a ship.)
(I'm just trying to keep this alive, I'm really annoying like that)
(Yes. VERY much so. Oml thank heck)
(I'll pull up my OC quick…)
Name: Artemisia 'Sia' Palizen
Gender: Female
Age: 19 (I can change it if needed)
Appearance: Long raven black hair pulled back into a braid, olive skin with patches of pale skin (has vitiligo), hazel eyes, lean build, missing fingers on her left hand.

(alllriiiighghghghggggtt neat! We'll start right away.)
The Sirens run past, but the girl he ran into had seen the dragon. It was a black-blue color with stripes of bright white that glowed, even in the darkness of the alley.
(this is my start lol. And do you think you could make Sia a bit older?)
(No problem!
can you elaborate on the world a little bit?
I'm assuming fantasy.)
(Well, originally I had it in Modern because it's like our world. Maybe it's somewhere in like, a cityscape, like NJ except a lot safer.)
(And it has pieces of Fantasy woven in, because that's usually what I work with)
(Okee)
Artemisia frowned at the boy and the dragon in his clutches. "What are you doing with that!?" She hissed.
(Quick question. Are the siren peeps jus like normal blokes of the neighborhood, or like the Big Baddies?)
(Kinda both. They don't mess with people unless they mess with them)
Gij collected the dragon in his arms breathing heavily. He shuffled around and fixed his hoodie so it was covering his face.
"Y-you-you didn't see anything!" He said quietly, shrilly and in a high-pitched voice.
"Yeah right." She grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into an alley. "Ya must be a special kind of stupid to screw with those folk. What are you doing with that?" She asked again, his arm still in her grasp.
Gij flailed away from her; he was surprisingly strong. "I'm not stupid! I know what I'm doing! And why should I tell you what I'm doing with this dragon?" The dragon flailed a little and cooed quietly. It licked his chin as if sensing he was agitated; its stripes glowed a faint, calming blue.
"Cause dragons can be dangerous, that's why." She grabbed his arm again. "I'm turning you in."
"No!" His voice was sharp like flint off of stone. "You can't! I was saving this dragon! Okay? Look, you can see where his scales are cracked… and…" He suddenly sounded like he was on the brink of tears. "I-I saw them a-abusing him… and I couldn't leave him! I-…" He broke off in sobs, and the dragon reached up and tried to soothe him with more gentle coos.
Artemisia paused, "Really? They were?" She peered more closely at the dragon.
Gij nodded and gently lifted up the dragon, showing cracked and bleeding skin on his tummy. Even in the lighting, Artemisia could tell it was bad.
Artemisia shuddered, memories bubbling to the front of her brain. "Poor dear." She murmured. She looked Gij in the eyes. "Alright. I have a place to hide you two."
Gij hugged the dragon and glared at her, though she couldn't tell because the hoddie was hiding his eyes. "What makes you think I trust you? You were just so keen to throw me away!" He tightened his grip on the cooing dragon.
