Aza whispered something to the anomaly in her hands and released him. Flamethrower manifested and hovered next to Camilla, making the water evaporate from the flames encasing his spectral form.

Camilla's pupil's immediately contracted as every drop of water evaporated. "LET ME GO. GET ME OUT OF THESE RESTRAINTS, OUT OF THIS PRISON. YOU MONSTERS." It was like a switch had flipped inside Camilla. She didn't seem aware of the state she had just been in, her only focus was yelling at the people around her. She strained at the cuffs around her wrists so much her wrists started to bleed.

"You might want to stop that," Flamethrower said.

The beast's continuous roars seemed to last until finally quieting down. No, its roars would be no good, not here. Its hidden gaze landed on the smaller door, the dent still in place where it had slammed full force into it. A new, possible weak point? A very likely chance looking at the damage now. Sure, it couldn't exactly, 'eat' the metal in place, but seemed the metal wasn't fully placed in that smaller door.
It took note, tucking that piece of information in the back of its mind. The Devourer lifted its giant middle head, the minor 'heads' barely moving, wisps of frost escaping through the closed jaws. The minor 'heads' seem to strain a few moments, as if trying to open, but those straps kept the jaws in place. The only thing they were able to do were to constantly breath freezing cold air.
So many outside its cell, most likely assessing the damage to the smaller door. Just them being in such close proximity of its giant holding room, left it feeling angered. They were too close, this was its territory, the enclosure that trapped it in this giant facility. Yet there they stood, as if nothing were happening…it would all be okay, everything was safe…but it wasn't…nothing and no one was safe here…not while it was around.
There was most likely other creatures like itself though that also poised extreme threats towards the hairless ones…but it didn't know that, keeping in its containment, never once being let out…for safety purposes of course and 'study'.

"You might want to stop that," Flamethrower said.

"Oh I might, might I? Who the hell do you think you are?" Camilla snarled, turning her anger to the figure next to her.

Harley looked to Flamethrower.
"Please, leave." Other anomalies weren't allowed near new ones, because it posed a threat to both parties. She took note of Camilla returning to normal after the water was evaporated.

Tool seemed to bob itself up and down, as if nodding. ”I know some, but not many, I’m afraid. Just the ones like tag and hide and seek.”

Melvin grinned. "Great! He'll need to be watered once a month or so, but heel be very easy to take care of otherwise," he reminded Xenia, "Enjoy your cactus!"

Harley looked to Flamethrower.
"Please, leave." Other anomalies weren't allowed near new ones, because it posed a threat to both parties. She took note of Camilla returning to normal after the water was evaporated.

Flamethrower dissipated into a single tongue of flame, then that flickered out. Aza knelt next to Camilla, pushing her glasses up.

Camilla glared at the girl leaning down next to her. "You don't look like a scientist. What do you want?"

"Azaline, what are you doing here?" Harley asked.

"Helping," she replied and turned to Camilla. "I don't want anything. I do want you to calm down, though. I don't want you to hurt yourself, okay?"

“Then let me go,” Camilla countered. She didn’t believe a word of what this woman was saying. Why did she care?

Harley shook her head.
"We can't. Not yet, anyway. We really need you to calm down." Harley was holding a shot of morphine under the table. If need be, she knew she what she had to do… Still, she hated having to, and was trying to give Camilla every chance.

(Wait morphine would just make it so she can't feel pain. You'd need like a sedation drug)

"Let me go and I'll calm down," Camilla shot back, pulling at her restraints. The lights above them were flickering more frequently. Camilla noticed, and probably could have stopped them if she wanted to, but she didn't.

(Actually, morphine can also be used to knock people out.)
"We can't do that," Harley tried to explain.
"If we did, there are others out there who would kill you. We want to make sure that doesn't happen."

(Oh okay. I didn't know that. Wow I learned something today)

"Oh sure, of course, you don't. Instead, you're going to tie me down and lock me away. Much more humane. Of course. Forgive me," Camilla added, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"We don't do that. Not if it is unnecessary. Your actions will decide that, though." Harley gripped the needle tightly.

Aza shot a glance at Harley. "Not now," she whispered.

"You've already done that!" Camilla was on the verge of yelling again. She made a show of moving her bloody wrists around. "What do you call this?"

"Overthinking," Aza replied matter-of-factly. She pulled her pencil out of her pocket and twirled it around her fingers.

"Overthinking?" Camilla raised an eyebrow. "What does that even mean? And why are you still here? I'm not gonna calm down, so your work here is done thank you very much."

"I refuse to obey you, Your Majesty," Aza said.

Camilla's eyes flashed. "Go away. Go away now, or I swear you will regret it." Her eyes grew dark, making her much older than the scared girl she was.

"Hide and seek sounds fun. I haven't played that in a long time." She looked to Uriah with a sharp glare. "Void you know I can't leave you. I'll just have yo hide with you." Vey scoffed and crossed her arms. "You're too big, I'll get found immediately. Just wait in the library. I promise I'll be careful." Uriah sighed giving up. He would have to be careful though, because if the higher ups know about this, he will get in huge trouble. "Fine." Uriah walked off and Vey turned to tool and smiled. "So, who's counting first?"
