Ianthe glanced left and right, then darted to a nearby building and hid behind the corner, motioning for Hemdez to follow.

(may i be a vampire?)
((Of course! Just post your character profile, and make sure you've read the rules and what's happened so far.))
Against his better judgement, Hemdez followed. He glanced left and right before he followed, hiding next to Ianthe, "I'm Hemdez by the way, and you might be?"
Ianthe takes out her notebook, scribbling for a moment before showing the page to Hemdez. It reads: My name is Ianthe. You say it like ee-AN-thee :)
Hemdez nodded, "Nice to meet you, Ianthe." He whispered, peaking his head around the corner to see if anyone was there or had seen them go around the corner.
Iantheputs her notebook and pencil away then takes out her staff again and presses the rune to extend it, glancing around at the other buildings
Hemdez frowned, "What are you doing?" He hissed, taking another worried glance around the corner before back to Ianthe.
She holds the staff under her arm and writes: I don't want anyone to attack me while I'm unprepared. We don't know where any of the other players are, especially not the vamps.
"Right yeah… it doesn't look like anyone is coming." Hemdez muttered as he looked around the corner again. He hoped whatever Ianthe was doing would help.
Sosdovah had settled down in the shadows, waiting silently, patiently. His yellow eyes shifted as he listened intently to the world around him. His lips twitched slightly, fangs poking through. Hm, it seemed the prey was taking longer than usual, that or no one has flushed them out yet. No matter, the male would remain in place, awaiting for the time to make his move.
As he laid, a rather strange individual with a cane was walking down the back. Instinctively, Sos drew further back into the shadows, blending in perfectly. His forked tongue slipped past his lips, testing the air. At the scent and taste, he instantly released a soft growl under his breath. Great, there was the first vampire, so nonchalantly walking the streets in plain sight. Sos didn't quite understand the guy's choice of approach, nor did he really care. In the dracopyre's mind, this vamp was just going to make it a lot easier to get the prey out and running, that or make it harder.
See, the other possible outcome of this vamp knocking on door's is make the humans hole themselves up…though eventually they'd have to go out and search for food…
The dracopyres could be quite destructive, and hard on the arena. It wouldn't be the first time several buildings were destroyed due to an overexcited dracopyre who had no patience to wait for the human to get out of the house. So, Sosdovah was trying to keep from destroying the place…unless absolutely necessary. If he was focused on a single human, then it was a probability of building destruction. Which, he'd honestly find amusement in doing.
As of now, however, Sosdovah's attention was not on any vampires, but the prey, humans. Though that could drastically change, should another vampire come between him and his prey.
Ianthe looked around the corner, scoping out the area, before writing in her notebook again.
I think we only really have a few options at this point. 1) We stick together and find somewhere to shelter and set up a sort of base. or 2) We try to find the other humans here and team up with them. 3) Something else? I'm not really sure.
"As much as I'm not a people person, staying together seems like a good idea. Finding other people might be hard and we might get caught… Can you fight?" Hemdez looked back at Ianthe, fiddling with the old dagger at his side.
Ianthe grinned then wrote: Yeah. I'm not great at hand-to-hand combat, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve :)
Yve has been walking around the town for a little while now before deciding on taking seat in a small shaded pavilion. He rests his head on his hands and sighs loudly.
“This is horribly boring.” He mumbles. His ears perk up at a slight shuffle, but not at the voices he hears of the new human, Hemdez. He frowns.
“There is another vampire.” He whispers. Although he has miserable eyesight he can smell and hear another person. He taps his cane on the ground and sighs.
“I smell. A snake.” He laughs. “Or some other reptile filth.” His eyes pass over the shadowed dragonpyre but he does not see Sosdovah.
Ianthe grinned then wrote: Yeah. I'm not great at hand-to-hand combat, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve :)
"Great, at least you can defend yourself unlike some people I know of…" Hemdez grinned back at her before asking, "Can you talk?"
Ianthe's grin fades. She sighs, and shakes her head, glancing around again.
"Oh… I'm sorry." Hemdez apologised gently, immediately feeling bad for asking, "Sorry for bringing it up."
Ianthe shrugs, writing in her notebook. It's alright. You were going to ask sooner or later. Trust me, you're not as bad as some people I've met :)
Hemdez ran a hand through his hair lazily, "Still, I can't help but be sorry. Can I ask how or would you rather not say? I understand if you don't want to talk about it."
Sym stalked around the lake, that being a prime spot for humans to come. They needed a drink after a while, everyone did. Being near the water also gave him an advantage, that advantage being that he was practically built for the water.
Kailani moved about the buildings in silence and speed. She gripped daggers and both hands, her eyes searching for any movement. She heard voices, but she had yet to encounter anyone. Her short brown hair brushed her neck, and she tucked it behind her ear once more. She longed to be back home, no out here, risking her life.
What is the point? She asked herself with a sigh. Why are we even doing this? She had already come to the conclusion that even if they did win, what would they gain? Vampires and humans would never be equal and prejudices would still take place. Overall if the fought through this, they'd be fighting for the rest of their lives.
She then thought of those she left at home, those that mattered to her. Her people. Her family. All of it was at stake right now. Her narrowed eyes scanned the shadows of every alley and corner. She had to fight for them.
Name: Aisha Jemini
Species: Vampire
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Powers/skills/abilities: Has the power of shapeshifting. Pretty rare, but not super powerful.
Personality type: The shapeshifting stereotype isn't necessarily wrong, for her. Aisha is kind of like the mean girl and the cliched Wattpad "slut" (y'all know which one I'm talking about; the one that consistently gets the short end of the stick). Very seductive, very intelligent and cunning. Knows how to work boys (and girls) to her advantage. Pretends not to mind being called a "slut" but actually does. An expert liar, Aisha is particularly mischievous. She has an overwhelming ambition and never surrenders. Regrets fufilling the "bisexual slut" stereotype.
Motivations: She has an unending contempt for humans and views them like Zaroff in "The Most Dangerous Game" - they are the weak, and we are the hunters. We were put on Earth to hunt the weak, and the weak was made to give us pleasure.
Backstory:
Other: Bi and ready to die
April's her ex, and the only one who ever broke Aisha's heart/the only who did the dumping in Aisha's dating history. She has dark brown hair bobbed short, pale skin, dark eyes full of intelligence, and a stubborn attitude. Type-A personality. Aisha cheated on April, and they broke up when April caught Aisha and another girl kissing in a broom closet (dick move Aisha).
Almost instinctively, hearing 'reptile filth', a deep growl that seemed to reverberate around the walls and the cause the very ground to rumble. His yellow eyes glowed brightly in the darkness, allowing himself to be seen in the shadows.
"I'd be careful who you call 'filth', and show a bit more respect to a creature far superior to you."
Sosdovah finally did emerge from the darkness. His pupils were thin slits that were nearly lost in the vast yellow of his eyes. The male's lips curled back, showing his fangs, wisps of smoke escaping his mouth. He easily towered over the vampire, the horns adorning his brow giving him an extra height advantage. Sos' very form seemed to radiate with extreme heat, but there was also a coldness there. It was difficult to really tell. Either way, it was clear the draconic male was not at all pleased.
"If really wanted to, I could simply set this entire place ablaze, burning all in here without so much of a care. However, there is no fun in that if the prey dies too quickly."
Sosdovah's eyes continued to glow, his voice was clear, "But I'm sure a few lost vampire lives wouldn't mean anything. As my clan could easily wipe out the competition without so much as lifting a finger. So allow me to make myself clear, stay out of my way, and I just might spare you. Get in-between me and the prey, and well, my draconic nature just might find itself a new taste it likes."
The dracopyre's form was tense. His body was ready to move and shift if he needed. Once again, being his kind, Sos was not afraid to throw his bulk around or make sure others knew that his kind were to be feared by all, not just humans.
((Sos now has a fanclub {me}. S.O.S, don't mess with him or you'll need a savior XD)
