For the past month, all anyone had been talking about was The Hunt.

For those in the vampire community, it was spoken about with excitement. Applications were put in to participate, and Hunters were chosen.

For humans, however, it was a time of fear. Applications were mandatory (and avoidance was met with death), and huddled groups lined up to apply. To choose Hunted, names were picked out at random.

Hunters travelled to the Arena, to where they would be staying in the week leading up to The Hunt. Hunted were taken from their homes and locked into the cells where they would stay.

Final preparations were made throughout the week. At noon on the first day of the week, players were dropped into the arena, and The Hunt began.

Yve had only entered said Hunt for the sole purpose of having some fun, scaring some of the miserable mortal creatures.

When The Hunt began, he was in one of the little houses, an old but well-decorated place and he didn’t move from where he stood, in fact, he only got more relaxed, blocking off the sounds of the outside world and lowering the temperature to that of minus three. He sat back, in the dark and waiting for any humans to come to the house for safety.

((A note: all players are allowed whatever clothing and items they wish to use. However, humans are not permitted to use silver weapons as silver is a vampire's weakness and this would give them an advantage.))

When Ianthe entered the Arena, she knew that finding somewhere to hide was priority one. She decided to scout around the house she was in, to see if she could gather any useful supplies before leaving.

The male's form seemed to tremble in excitement. A forked tongue slipped past his lips, testing the air. Having the opportunity to join the Hunt and make his clan proud, it was one of the best things to ever happen. If he'd been in his dragon form, his tail would be swaying madly. Though, he remained in his human form.
This was Sosdovah, a young, well, young for his kind, dracopyre. His yellow eyes glowed, black pupils narrowed into thin slits. He waited at the gate, feet shifting back and forth. He could sense them inside, the humans awaiting their fate. Their scent lingered in the air, making him even more excited to get in and start tearing things apart. Having a chance to get in and explore the city-like arena already, Sosdovah had a mental layout of where the best areas were that could accommodate his dragon form, as well as places to chase and corner potential prey.

The gate opened…and he was gone. Sosdovah wasted no time in quickly slipping into the shadows. His form seemed to melt into the darkness, but his yellow eyes continued to glow. The yellow seemingly swirled to bright red, but then changed back to their yellow. His gaze shifted all around, forked tongue flicking out, testing the air. He gave a soft snort to himself.
Right, he was going to have competition. Which was something he didn't really care for. Despite having vampire, one had to remember Sos also had the blood of a fiery dragon, and that fiery dragon nature wasn't pleased to have what it took as possible intruders that could steal the prey. As such, the Dracopyres were greatly feared as well as revered. If another vampire clan didn't know that, well, the Dracopyres would make sure the others wouldn't forget it.
Now Sosdovah, having a natural dislike for other vamps from the dragon blood, it would simply be a feat if he were able to contain himself while amongst other different vamps and not murder them as well…

Yve got bored of waiting, deciding to take a walk around. Around him was something cool, the air was cool itself, perhaps. He ran a hand through his soft hair and walked lazily through the town, his cane tapping into the ground as he moved. He sniffed the air and smelt the forest area nearby and a few human scents but he did not go after them. He was happy, peaceful, and didn’t need any drama yet.

He settled down outside one hose, knocking on its door with his cane, He’s for sure smelt and heard someone in there, a human. He coughed.

He understood there were vampires here who took things seriously but he was not one of them. Gladly, he would assist a vampire who was serious about this.
