(Kam?)
"I'll be back in a little bit ok buddy?" she said and left the room to go find him some food to eat. She came back to the room with a cup of applesauce and some fruit punch.
Jay accepted the food with shaking hands. "H-How do you… how do you know my parents? Why did he recognize you?" He asked quietly, looking up into Kam's face that so resembled his mother's. The resemblance was great, but Kam's face held a lot more softness and compassion than his mother's ever had.
Kam sighed "Have your parents ever Mentioned the name Olivia?" she asked him softly
Jay shook his head. "They don't say names much, n-not even mine. To them, I'm just 'boy'."
"Well, let me tell you a story." she said and smiled at him sadly
"…Alright?" Jay sat in silence, waiting for Kam to begin.
"Once upon a time there was a family with a mom, a dad, and a young girl named Olivia. The family was very happy and loved each other. One day the dad came home furious, He had been fired because he was framed for stealing from the company." she started looking off into space
(Lol since when have they been happy)
Jay seemed confused, but remained silent. Kam was making this story sound a lot more cheerful and lighthearted than he knew it would truly be.
(Hello?)
w8
(meh idk when she was like 5 :D)
"THe dad started drinking alcohol and started to spend more and more time at the bar. Once day he came home drunk and hit The mom. Olivia was so scared and went to hide in her room. This started happeneing more often. Slowly the stress got to the mom and she started getting drunk too. They spent most of their time fighting and yelling at each other. One day the mom got mad at Olivia and hit her with a bottle. she got glass stuck in her shoulder and lost a lot of blood. she felt the glass being taken out but couldn't see who took it out. she dealt with this abuse until she was 14. she ran away and went to go live with her friend." she stopped and took a sip of water and looked at Jay
"B-But they never found you?" Tears were streaming down Jay's cheeks at this point. "I only ran once, and… and that was today. A-And they found me…" Jay hiccuped, hiding his face in his arms. "I think… I-I think they were angry when you left, and they… they had me as a 'replacement'. Every day they… well…" The bruises on Jay's arms finished his sentence for him well enough. "I-I don't think I've ever seen them sober, and they're always just… so angry… b-but I didn't do anything! Why do they hate me?" Jay's voice cracked and faltered as he looked back up at Kam, tears streaked across his face.

(Hello, I live, Bridgett's gonna come out now, you guys can continue that while Bridgett talks to Allison)
Bridgett came out of the room with a grin on her face.
(Hello, I live, Bridgett's gonna come out now, you guys can continue that while Bridgett talks to Allison)
Bridgett came out of the room with a grin on her face.
(Finally!)
As soon as she exited, Allison grabbed her arm and quickly pulled her to the other side of the hallway. Her eyes were frantic and she was desperate. "I'm sorry. But I needed to ask something about your library. Do you by chance have books on interdimensional transport theories? And if so, where do I find them?" she said quietly. She was looking directly into Bridgett's eyes. "My name is Allison, and I need to get home." Allison said, sounding a little hysterical.
(Alrighty)

Bridgett was confused, but she sputtered, "Yeah, I think I do. In my sci-fi section." She took a moment to process the woman before she remembered her. "Oh!" She exclaimed. "I'm Bridgett Smith. I'm so sorry, I was busy when you came into the library. Yes, of course. You can find them in the back left of the library near the green chair."

Allison was astonished that Bridgett didn't scream and cry for help because a crazy lady had abducted her in the hallway, but she was relieved about it. "Thank you. My whole name is Allison Joleis. If it isn't so much to ask, what happened to the boy? He seemed bruised and in pain." she said quietly, letting go of Bridgett's arm and her voice and eyes returning to their normal blood red color. "Don't worry about the eyes by the way. It's their natural color." she clarified before Bridgett had any time to react.
"If those books turn out to be useful… I could finally get home. I could… see… him-" she ended slowly. Yes home was home, and it was beautiful, and state of the art, and not primitive libraries. Though Bridgett's was an amazing library, she always had a special place for the Calear Library at home in her heart. However, home was also where Marcus was. "I'm sorry. My ex, he's insane." she said quietly before blushing out of embarrassment. Her cheeks went from their already light red to a deeper shade that was near the color of her eyes.
Bridgett blinked with surprise at the sudden color change of Allison's features, but said nothing as Allison explained. "Jay's parent's aren't good people, but luckily," Bridgett grinned, "They're not his guardian's anymore. He should be safe from now on."
Bridgett nodded knowingly. "I understand. I know a thing or two about insane ex's. I wish you the best of luck with dealing with him."

"Thanks. Its an uphill battle fighting an interstellar billionaire who has no problem with sending you to a primitive planet with no technologies to bring you home. I still have no idea how he put me here." she said before putting her hands on her eyes and groaning. "Well, since I know nobody else and I don't know if I can get back inside the library, I'll stick with you for a bit. I need to learn more about this place before I go back to read those theory books."
"Yeah, that sounds rough." Bridgett said. "Sounds good, c'mon, I'll introduce you to the gang." Bridgett walked to Jay's room and grinned as she saw Kam and Jay.
(Alrighty! Here we go. Family reunion!! YAY! @FireSky and Anyone At All, you guys here?)
Jay looked up as Bridgett entered with another girl he didn't know, quickly trying to stop his crying. He wiped some of the tears from his face, but it was still very obvious that he had been crying.
