She laughed lightly. "What, is she eccentric? I feel like most people have that one eccentric aunt."
She laughed lightly. "What, is she eccentric? I feel like most people have that one eccentric aunt."
"Not eccentric. Just…….too kind."
"Well, kindness is a good thing." Evera smiled faintly, thinking back to her godawful conference. "The world needs more of it."
"Not when you know my aunt," Elara replies. "Hey Aunt Grace. This person needs some aspirin."
"I don't have any aspirin. But, here's some money to buy some," Aunt Grace says, handing Elara $50. "And you'll need something to drink it with," She says, handing Elara another $50. "And here's money to spend," She says, handing Elara another $50.
River walked around in the train and saw a lot of kids her age. She sighed and stood to the side watching a woman give a girl money while another girl stood beside her.
"Oh, wow." Evera definitely saw what she meant. "Hi, I'm Evera Kyong-Bennett," she greeted the older woman.
"Gracelynne Witman. My family calls me Grace," Aunt Grace says, pulling Evera into a huge hug.
Evera squeaked in surprise at the sudden embrace. "Uh. Nice to meet you," she said, returning the hug hesitantly. "I was just talking to your niece. Where are the two of you coming from?"
"Manhattan," Aunt Grace replies.
"Well, she's coming from Manhattan. I'm from Missouri. Well, technically Australia, but that was before I remember anything."
"Hm, okay. I'm coming from New York, going home. I had this dumb conference to attend."
"That's-"
"Time for us to go. Right, Evera? Don't we need to get you some aspirin?"
"Right, true." Evera nodded her agreement gratefully. Grace was super nice! But a bit too nice. It was almost stifling. "It was nice to meet you, Grace."
"Bye!" Aunt Grace calls.
"See what I mean?" Elara asks when they're out of earshot. "She's TOO NICE."
Evera nodded, smoothing her shirt. "I see what you mean. She's…overbearing. But at least she means well."
"Yeah, that's true. I mean, I get a lot of money from her."
Evera laughed. "That certainly is a plus."
"Yeah, I suppose. I probably get more spoiled because I'm an only child," Elara says as they near the pharmacy (?).
Evera nodded. "I know what you mean. All of my relatives spoil my daughter." She looked away for a moment and turned to the person at the drug counter. "A bottle of aspirins, please." Once she bought the aspirins, she turned back to the younger girl.
Shifting in her seat, Maeve glanced at the other passengers. Should she introduce herself? After all, she was going to be roommates with one of them.
"Do you wanna go to the bar? I'm currently craving a diet coke."
The waiter pressed a button, broadcasting her voice across the loudspeakers.
"Your rooms have been prepped. Roommates are posted on the wall near room 1. Have a nice day."

Luka smiled at Brent. "I hope we're roomies."
People who are roommates:
Wade and Kiyoko
Luka and Brent
Alexander and Dalton
Evera and Cammie and River
Elara and Maeve
(Here are the roommates if you forgot)
Brent nodded, “I hope so too.”
River walked to room 1 and looked at the list. She was being paired with 2 others. Walking to her room she put her suitcase and bags on the upper bunk and walked around the decent sized room.
(Is there somewhere I can put my character rn?)
