(Yeah!)
(Yeah!)
(Yeet!)
(I'm ready!)
The train station was huge and full of people. Each one, having their own complex lives, their own reasons for getting onto a train. But this train was special, first-class and faster than most. She'd been lucky to score the ticket. Kiyoko had a constant smile on her face. She handed her ticket to the man at the desk, excited to go home and forget about last weekend.
Brent sat on the train. His leg was bouncing nervously. I hope no one recognizes me.
Evera stepped onto the train, handing her ticket to the man at the desk. She smiled at him and exchanged pleasantries. He was a bit distant, but she understood. She'd hardly been able to manage a smile after a full two weeks of being away from her family on that damn conference. Exhaustion had sunk deeply into her very bones. She just wanted to see Riley and the kids. Thinking of them made her a bit sad. They must have missed her as much as she missed them. Well, she thought, I'm going to see them. It's just a matter of time.
"Brent. Hey." Luka took his seat next to him. "How are you doing?"
Cammie waited for the girl in front to go finish before she could go. I can't wait to see Nana again. She excitingly thought to herself. Her Nana was the only family she had and Cammie had just come back from shopping and getting medicine for her.
Wade stood in line, tapping his foot and crossing his arms. While he loved his aunt and uncle, spending a week with them drained his energy quickly. Goodbye boring days of bingo and sitting, hello fun days of reading and going outside. He thought to himself, peering to the front of the line to see how much longer it would take.
Brent sighed, well there went his cover. He turned to Luka, "Hey Luka. I'm doing fine how about you?"
"Just reading a book. A Tale of Two Cities. Dickens. I trust that you-" His narcolepsy kicked in and Luka fell asleep in his seat.
Brent looked at the sleeping Luka, "Well isn't that just great."
Evera headed into the train and took a seat, sighing and tilting her head back. She had a major headache. She could feel her eyes throbbing.
After punching in her ticket, Cammie slung her bag over her shoulder and got onto the fancy first class train. She looked around at all the People before taking an empty seat near the window.
"I'm alive!" Luka opened his eyes, staring at Brent. "Has anybody told you that you have a college frat boy name?"
~
(This can be anyone) Kiyoko took a seat next to random person and smiled at them.
"No," Brent responded, "That is such a weird thing to say."
"Um hi?" She greeted the girl unsurely.
(I'll take it from here.)
Elara boards the train. "I'm gonna go explore Aunt Grace."
"Yeah, y'know, like Chad and Fred and Justin. You're Brent." Luka laughed.
~
"Hi. My name's Kiyoko, what's yours?" Kiyoko extended her hand, a bright smile on her face.
Brent rolled his eyes and laughed, "Yep. I'm Brent. Man it does sound like a frat boy name."
Elara bumps into someone. "I'm sorry," She says.
(anyone, idk)
Cam looked VERY confused at the girl. "Cammie?" She replied and looked down at the hand unsure of what to do.
"So, do you smoke and drink and talk about girls a lot or. . .?" Luka pulled out his cigarette pack and lighter.
Elara bumps into someone. "I'm sorry," She says.
(anyone, idk)
"It's alright," Evera said automatically, her eyes flying open. She smiled.
