The boy did as he was told, turning around so his back faced the man. He internally braced himself for what was to come - he was used to pain in general yes, but he still got faint shivers whenever he felt something was coming from behind. Facing away from the unexpected made his whole back get the chills, as he clenched his teeth and waited
”Do me a favor and fake a hurting state when the spirit starts going into you, alright?” the fifth judge whispered as he started casting something. A Kirin like creature’s spirit; a spirit that looked like a mix between a fox and a dragon appeared beside the judge as it moved around Ryuusei, looking down at him. The size of the creature was almost equal to the size of an average horse. The spirit then started to seep into Ryuusei’s body… it was pleasant feeling of comfort, a bit ticklish from the soft fur of the spirit.
Ryuusei was originally slightly confused when he heard the judge's request and frowned a little, feeling a little stupid for having to fake pain in order to spook the others (thats probably what the man was after all along). He initially wanted to protest but decided to keep his mouth shut and proceeded to think of a way to improvise some pain.
His eye widened at the sight of the creature, admiring its grace and shapes, experiencing a weird feeling. Was it happiness? Excitement? He wasnt afraid of it, yet seeing the mythical beast in person gave him a weird tingly feeling, akin to one a child might have upon discovering that something he had believed in his whole life turned out to be real.
It didnt take him long to find an opportunity to fake pain; as soon as the creature's spirit began seeping into his soaked color drained body, he felt his lungs compress, forcing the pond water out through his mouth and nose. He exaggerated his reaction making it look like he was going through a painful experience, feeling embarrassed for having to pretend for shits and giggles

When Ryuusei’s process began, Kaito smiled nervously with a small nervous giggle as well. It looked like the process was going to hurt like hell.
The process on Ryuusei was soon finished with the spirit fully seeping into his body.
”Who’s next?” the fifth judge patted Ryuusei on his shoulder. It seemed like the man had a warm and playful side to him as well though he could not show much of it.

(mending song, gotcha. I was just worried since it looked like his body was not affected by the spirit entering him except for the water puking part They're probably gonna fix their bodies later, before they start the work, ye?)

Koki stepped forward, looking a bit afriad. "I can?" She offered, sounding more like a question that it was a statement. She repeated it, sounding more sure. "I can go next."
”Alright” the fifth judge agreed.
”Same situation, come stand in front of me but have your back turned to me” the man requested, skimming through his spell book.
Kaito looked at the young girl.
What a brave kid, I wouldn’t want to go honestly after what had happened he thought to himself and giggled silently.
((makes me feel like this dude is a kid in disguise or smth)
Ryuusei had stepped off somewhere to the side, feeling like he was chocking on the air that had reentered his lungs. He never thought he'd find it hard to breathe, but after having water in his lungs for a while there he was. He may have been dead but the feeling still sucked big time

The fifth judge started casting a spell as a faint masked child spirit appeared beside him.
The masked child spirit floated around a bit before stopping in front of Koki, waved at her and started seeping into her body. The sensation of the spirit was… ticklish, it was hard for one not to laugh at all when the spirit’s exterior was that tender.
”Who’s next?”
(The reaction can come later I guess XD)
Kaito swallowed silently as he took a step forward.
“I’ll go” he said, faking his confidence. He got into the same position as Ryuusei was before and the same thing happened where the desired spirit; this time a Baku, appeared beside the fifth judge.
Kaito turned to the small seemingly fluffy figure when it floated near him. The spirit of the Dream Eater started to seep through his skin…
Splat…
A pool of blood immediately flooded out of Kaito’s body when the spirit went into his body as he fell to the floor, his whole structure shaking as if he was having a seizure. His face was starting to go blue, a clear sign of the lost of breath. He kicked his feet around, his hands grabbing his throat trying his best to ‘stay alive’. He soon was able to control the feeling, getting up on his knees like a four legged animal. He slowly stood up fully, arms and legs lacking energy. Blood still poured out from his mouth, drop by drop it stained the carpet of the first court.
He then made his way to stand beside Ryuusei and Koki who stood to the side. His pale cheek had changed, his left had a blue Japanese character on it now. His eyes were bloodshot from all the movement of struggling.
The fifth judge turned to the finished people before he turned back to the last one who was unfinished.
”You’re up”
Jennifer, thoroughly unnerved by Kaito's experience, walked up with as much confidence as she could muster. She turned to face away from the judge and closed her eyes, hoping that this would be quick and/or painless.

The fifth judge started casting a spell. When it was finished, a faint spirit of a cat appeared on the judge’s head. The judge looked up and petted the cat’s head once before it jumped to Jennifer’s head.
Releasing a soft purr, the spirit started seeping into her body. The sensation given by the spirit was a fluffy and soft sensation with no pain and all… which seemed to go against what had happened to Kaito earlier.
