(Dante, my character, could be Alex's friend. We should figure out how to gather our characters since they're in another region of the world. Also, I'm not sure how and if we should interact with the Council meeting Zilant is in)
(Alright then, Alex shall be expecting your arrival.)
((OOC: Entirely up to you how you would want to respond with my Dragonkin. It is just something I simply thought of to try and get into the RP))
Alex quietly floated through the walls of an abandoned home. Of course, she was invisible right now or else that would just be weird. This is the spot he wanted to meet in. She reassured herself as she looked around. Her little hideaway was better.
He was a bit nervous lately, his hurried pace and that annoying yet constant feeling that something was gonna happen made it quite clear. "You feel it too, don't you?". Andras' whispers always found a way to Dante's mind. "Feel what?", he asked. Instead of paying attention to the demon's words, he focused on making sure nobody was following him. "Something is going to happen soon. Very soon."
Once he was facing the wooden door -the same one he opened each time he needed an isolated place to practice his magic- he placed a hand on the metal handle and pronounced the words: aliden impalia. With a "click" sound the lock opened and the door squeaked. "Danger, fool boy. You and them. You are in imminent danger", Andras continued, without receiving any kind of response from the mage.
Closing the door behind him he made himself comfortable on an old wooden chair. "Hello, dear", Dante said with a smlie on his face. "I'm here!".
The sound of a door openning and shutting filled the silent air. "Hello Dear" Alex blushed a little before she made herself visable. "Hey Dante." She greeted energeticlly before walking over and giving him a hug. "So what did you want to talk about?" She asked curiously.
Seeing Alex always made him feel good. They were old friends and she was nearly the only person he completely and blindly trusted in. "I've made the ritual. The roaki da tae; you know, the one that temporarily grants clairvoyance and some trippy visions to Andras", he was very proud of successfully completing that ritual, one that he had tried dozens of times before without outcomes. "And I've got some news… not good ones, precisely."
Andras made herself visible, appearing as the only shape she was able to take: a blue floating flame.
Alex looked in awe at Andras in a blue flame. "Woah thats cool! Can you change her into a different form." She asked curiously as she reached out her hand to touch it.
"Well, actually I'm not the one doing it", he replied after laughing for a moment. "Andras herself chooses that shape, though I think I could try to change her… perhaps into something more fun like a cupcake or a balloon". "I'll consume your soul if you even dare to try", Andras' voice invaded Dante's mind again.
Because of the nature of telepathy, Alex wouldn't be able to hear her.
"Ha! You're funny", he looked at the fire knowing that, somehow, Andras was looking back at him.
Alex snickered to herself. "You know, we could of done this at my place. The outside world is so horrifying sometimes." She said softly as she looked around. Dante's presence always made her more comfortable
"Yeah, I know", he replied while walking around the room. "But, you know, I like mystery and drama."
The smile that had just appeared on his expression suddenly faded into a more serious look. "We're in danger, Alex. I'm not exactly sure of what it is and neither is Andras, but someone or something is coming after us. All of us".
"Least our kind can blend in better with humans. I mean, a giant overgrown lizard tends to stick out like a sore thumb."
There was mutter that went through the members. Several nodded in agreement, but many kept still and silent.
"Dragons on the other hand, oh dear. Most live up to their names now don't they? Big, stupid brutes who only move around to cause damage and death. Stealing livestock, and as well as supposedly young females. Hell, bet that was how the first Dragonkin was made wasn't it? Probably some male dragon looking…"
Silence descended almost instantly. Zilant had slowly started to walk through the council members. He approached the male who had been running his mouth. The Dragonkin easily towered over him, the horns upon his head at least adding another foot. Zilant's eyes glared downwards, the pupils thin slits. His tail started to lash back and forth. A clawed hand suddenly reached outwards, wrapping around the others throats, easily plucking him off the ground. Zilant's form started to radiate with extreme heat, a pair of wings suddenly springing from his back. His skin seemingly rippled as more scales appeared along his arms and face. The Dragonkin curled his own lips back, ignoring the weak attempts made by the one he held who was choking.
"I'd watch your tongue, or you might end up losing it. Your ability to even try and comprehend the knowledge of what my people and the dragons know, is like a fly trying to escape a spider's web. Slow, fat, and stupid is what you useless sludge piles are. I would find it amusing to see you try and talk like that before my father, who is in fact a dragon. In fact, any dragon to hear you talk like that about them, would result in a slow and painful death for you."
Finally, Zilant dropped the other. The scales that once covered his arms and faces seemingly shed away. However, his cold, hard eyes remained, pupils thin slits nearly lost in the pale blue. The Dragonkin's tail continued to lash back and forth.
"Is there anyone else who would like to voice their views on my people or the dragons?"
Zilant was met with complete silence. He let the silence remain for several moments, then gave a nod. The Dragonkin turned, starting to walk away. His voice was low as he suddenly spoke, "Now if you will excuse me, I am returning back to my home."
He suddenly stopped, glaring back out of the corner of his eye, "Though, if I find any of your creatures or people coming near our mountain village, I cannot guarantee your safety. We do not take kindly to strangers entering our territory, as we can be quite territorial."
Then without another word, Zilant started to return back.
((I'm kinda confused and unsure where to get my character to fit. Anyone got any suggestions?))
All of us".
(Im sorry, Im having a really Crappy day today.)
Alex looked at him. "Cant we fight him or something? We could defeat it with my powers and your rituals. If its really that dangerous, I have more hideaways." She said immediately as she saw how serious he was.
"Where do we go from here gang?" Josh turned to the group, "We need shelter or the boogie man will get us. But we might want to invest in a basement because otherwise full moons are going to get really interesting really quickly!"
“Yeap,” said Victoria, who was dizzy and a bit lightheaded. “I’m gonna… need a place…. to lie down….”
((I'm kinda confused and unsure where to get my character to fit. Anyone got any suggestions?))
(Your character could join Dante and Alex, I suppose)
"Yeahhhh, same… pretty sure I'm bleeding…" Maddox looked down at his blood stained shirt.
“That’s…. bad….” Victoria was on the verge of passing out. “Need… to…. lie…. down….”
“That’s…. bad….” Victoria was on the verge of passing out. “Need… to…. lie…. down….”
"Wow, you two are no good with this whole shimmering thing. Maybe me being a demon makes me immune."
"Y-Yeah, and the fact that I was already injured doesn't help… I'm just gonna… siiiit down…" Maddox slowly collapsed to the ground, laying on his back.

Alex looked at him. "Cant we fight him or something? We could defeat it with my powers and your rituals. If its really that dangerous, I have more hideaways." She said immediately as she saw how serious he was.
"I… don't really know. I don't even know what's this danger. Andras saw a dark figure surrounded by black flames on her visions. She says this… thing holds a great power and that it intends to harm us", Dante was visibly worried. He knew that as a guard it was his reponsibility to keep everyone safe but he didn't know if he was gonna be able to succeed at it. "Though visions aren't literal. The figure Andras saw could be a depiction of something else. I-It's complicated", he stuttered. "Perhaps, this time… we should run and hide instead of fighting."
"I wonder if it is that you are brave or just too scared", Andras spoke only to him once more. "I wonder if it is a mercyful feeling or an egotistical one…", the flame the demon manifested as flew around the room "… the one that keeps you from telling her whose corpse I saw".
"Y-Yeah, and the fact that I was already injured doesn't help… I'm just gonna… siiiit down…" Maddox slowly collapsed to the ground, laying on his back.
“Also the fact that I dissolved us, too, which I don’t have-” Victoria gasped for breath “-much control over.” She lay down next to Maddox.
Josh sat down next to them, "We can't rest here forever,"
