Chara growled once and did the complete opposite of what Clearine had said, taking out the nearest one with a quick bite and snap of the neck, she went wild on the rest of them only stopping when she was thrown off by a larger man. She growled and stood, starting to circle the men that were left

The men brought out their guns and prepared to shoot. Clearine's eyes widened. She was familiar with the bullets in those guns. They were filled with toxins and would cause Chara incredible pain, then death. In an instant, she thought about how much Raziel relied on Chara, and what it would mean to him if she died.
"No!" she yelled and sprinted out of the elevator. The bullets were fired, and Clearine did the only thing she could think of – she jumped in front of Chara to protect her. The bullets pierced her chest, and she looked at the she-wolf. "You can attack now," she whispered faintly.

Chara got more towels and pressed the other remaining wounds down
Raziel hurried to the hotel room to find carnage "oh man…Chara?!"
Her head snapped up and she made a bolt to the door. Finding Raziel, she touched her nose to his hand and walked into the room to show him Clearine.
"Clearine?" he looked at te wounds "great, more unexplained 'accidents'" he pressed down on the wound with one hand and called 911 with the other.
"they'll be here in 5 minutes." he said glancing down at her "thank you for saving her,"

"It's too late," Clearine whispered softly. "It's my way of saying thank you. For–" She gasped as pain shot through her again. "Everything."

"no, no, no. you owe me nothing. Help's coming, just stay awake a little longer." he glanced at Chara "are you alright girly?" she nodded and glanced at Clearine, bowing her head in respect and thanks, much as she does to Raziel.

Clearine smiled faintly. She reached out and stroked Chara's head. "Thank you," she whispered. "You both did more than you know."
